Mixed emotions for sure as Town end their losing streak with a hard-fought point at Rochdale… Character shown to come back from a goal down. Felt comfy at 2-1 but again, killer instinct was lacking in that moment. It’s something to build on but #GTFC need to tighten up still.

Back three possibly with Foulkes as the third CB? Not sure how adept he will be in that role. First league start for him though finally so he won’t mind. Be interesting to see how things look further forward if it is that way. #GTFC

A good response to going behind from #GTFC, but the visitors deserved that lead for the chances they had created in the first half-hour. Town really struggled to beat the press, and they looked panicked in possession. Shame they needed to concede to find some composure.

DA says Staunton has tweaked his calf which is why he wasn’t involved tonight. Not serious apparently but a minor setback for him. Morgan came off with a dead leg so will be assessed in the morn. H. Cartwright in contention for his first league start after tonight also. #GTFC

Just a third league loss at home in 2026 for #GTFC… Fair to say that they were not quite at it for large spells, with the visitors slowing things down at every opportunity once they got ahead. Nice moment for Fin Cartwright to get his first pro goal, but some work to do!

Tough one that for #GTFC - two very a avoidable goals conceded with Newport not threatening much beforehand. Morgan has to take that chance in the first half, and the performance lacked urgency after the break until the latter stages. Lacking that ruthless edge at times still!

Another home win and clean sheet to continue unbeaten start. Could’ve been a murder on the final scoreline if not for Crawley’s goalkeeper. Need to be more ruthless still. but can’t have many complaints with how things have gone so far while still missing a few names. #GTFC

Crucial to get the second goal before the break with the momentum #GTFC had after Morgan tucked away his first goal for the club from the spot. Crawley looked lost at times in that have, but Town were still sloppy in moments. In a great position either way at HT.

Good win for #GTFC against the early pace-setters. Limited them to very little in another physical battle. GDT brilliant once again, but solid performances from everyone to win a game in such a comfortable fashion.

Equally enjoyable and frustrating watching #GTFC to start the season! Spirited comeback today at Cheltenham after an error-laden first half. Plenty of good play in the first five games, but still a lot of growing for this team to do.
