Reform has confirmed they will abolish ILR since 2025 - which will reverse the Boriswave.
Restore Britain hasn’t done this ❌
In fact, Rupert has said he disagreed with Reform on this ❌
Rupert Lowe is to the LEFT of Reform on immigration. ☑️
Restore is all vibes-based BS.

The Vice President of the United States has just admitted it. The Iran war cost Republicans Congress.
"The reason we lost is the war," JD Vance wrote this morning. "To the people who are pissed off and want to say, 'I told you so': you're right, you did tell us so."
We did. Repeatedly.
Days after the 2024 election, I wrote President Trump a letter: KEEP THE NEOCONS OUT. Personnel is policy. Keep the war lobby out of the Oval Office.
In March 2025 I warned the hawks wanted a SecDef who'd start a war with Iran. Weeks into the war, I said the "intel" behind it was dodgy. Very.
It was sold as a four-to-five-week operation. It's now in its eighth month. 23 American troops dead. 865 wounded. 63 percent of voters now say attacking Iran was the wrong call.
Nobody in Washington wanted to hear it. Now the Vice President is saying it for us.
Everything we said, and when, is below.

The war with Iran is justified and must continue.
The world cannot allow these maniacs who murdered 100K of their own people to obtain a nuclear weapon.
You’re a cowardly appeaser. We hate you.

The 6-week Iran plan *was* the right one if it had been stuck to. Your cowardice was not. On the one hand you tweeted about standing with Israel and on the other you were happy to let Iran keep enriching uranium. Now you think you sound clever. You sound dumb and weak and cowardly and like someone who doesn’t understand it’s not “either/or.”
But then again we all know this is Alistair and Liam, not Rupert tweeting. So who cares?

In 2010, white Americans made up 45.3 per cent of Texas. By 2025, that number fell to 37.3 per cent. Hispanics now make up 40.9 per cent of Texans, the largest group in the state. Of the four million people Texas added between 2010 and 2020, 95 per cent were not white. Nearly one in five Texans, 5.8 million people, was born abroad, up from one in six a decade ago.
As the cliché goes, demographics is destiny. In both Britain and America, white voters are far more right wing than ethnic minorities. The national exit poll figures from last night show Republicans winning 55 per cent of white men, against just 13 per cent of black men and 6 per cent of black women. Democrats took 56 per cent of Latino men and 66 per cent of Latino women. White women narrowly favoured the Democrats. Britain shows a similar pattern: in 2024, Labour led the Conservatives by seven points among white voters, but by 29 points among ethnic minorities. 68 per cent of black voters supported Labour in 2024; just one per cent voted for Reform UK.
I’ve made my Substack free on the midterms today 👇
In 2016 the chairman of the Texas Democrats said: “If we can get Hispanics to vote in this state, it would be impossible for the Republicans to elect anyone.”
Last night his daughter was elected governor.
This is not new. California voted Republican in nine of ten presidential elections up to 1988. Then Reagan signed an amnesty for three million illegal immigrants. Whites went from 67% of the state to 35%. No Republican has won it since.
President Trump’s Iran war drove the midterms disaster. As did the high gas prices that resulted from it. Yet there was another crucial factor at play, and one the British Right must take notice of: demographics.
Britain’s white population has fallen from 87% to 74% in 20 years, and Labour is about to put the Boriswave on the path to citizenship.

The war has been a disaster for America and the UK.
Yesterday Trump suffered the electoral consequences of his mistake.
The lesson? Always put the safety and prosperity of your people first👇
The Iranian regime is wicked, but this war needs to come to an end as soon as possible because it is making Britain poorer.
Reform are a party for working people, not drawn-out wars in faraway places.
The liberal interventionists of the early 21st century failed our own people, leaving them poorer and more exposed to mass migration, not to mention the brave British men whose lives were lost. The British people have had enough of them. It’s time to be realists and put Britain first.
That’s why Nigel Farage immediately ruled out suggestions that the UK might deploy boots on the ground. Nor do we see why British aircraft should become involved in offensive action.
In just a matter of days, people are feeling the side effects of this conflict. The cost of filling up your car or van has already risen sharply. Those who rely on heating oil to heat their homes are feeling the pinch. And very soon household prices will rise more sharply. The fact is that the longer this war continues, the more damage it will cause to British families, businesses and manufacturers.
We must channel Palmerston and ruthlessly pursue our national self-interest. That means being steadfast in our defence of our people and bases in the region. But it also means being clear that a prolonged conflict in the Middle East will see prices spiral here and hurt everyone in their pocket.
The only war the Government should be waging is on the malign Iranian influence here on our own soil. The radical Imams Tehran funds. The extremism they promote. The agents they send on small boats. The IRGC needs to be proscribed, the funding cut off, and our porous borders sealed shut. Illegal migrants from Iran must be removed.
If those egging on British military involvement in Iran were as eager to secure our border we would be a much safer country.
And as everything becomes more expensive, Starmer should be making life easier for people. I warned the Chancellor on Tuesday that a rise in fuel duty at a time when prices are already rising by 20 per cent was a terrible idea, yet she has doubled down. So too has Ed Miliband, who refuses to grant new oil and gas licenses against all logic.
At a time when our country is broken and in need of serious repair, we do not need distractions. Our sole interest must always be in making the British people safer and more prosperous. There is no time to waste.

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.
