KaspaDollar is the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS Network
This is a MASSIVE development in the #Kaspa ecosystem
Great work @asaefstroem in leading this initiative!
The #Kaspa community keeps building, even in the depths of a bear market. Bullish on the $KAS community and network
Today we are introducing KaspaDollar, an initiative led by core developer @asaefstroem to build the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS network.
The developments around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork have considerably widened what Kaspa is capable of. Capability alone, however, does not make an ecosystem. Decentralized finance requires a unit of account that holds its value, and until Kaspa has a stablecoin of its own, every application built on it will remain dependent on assets issued elsewhere.
The design we intend to follow is the decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin: a pattern whose security properties have been examined and tested across the industry for the better part of a decade. With the support of the core team, we consider the conditions right to bring it to Kaspa.
Realizing this requires development, an independent audit, further research, and the operational work of taking a protocol from specification to production. To fund it, we are opening a fundraiser with a target of 5,000,000 KAS.
Contributions are made directly to the fundraising address published on the website. Should the target not be reached by 1 January 2027, every contribution will be returned to the address from which it was sent.
Up until that point, this account will share the plans, details and progress of the work as it develops.

Want to have your mind blown?
In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold.
In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold.
Your paycheck went up 10x.
Measured in gold, it fell 88%.
To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today.
That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

Liquid isn't very liquid it looks like
It's almost as if it it's Bitcoin
@realvijayk it's time for another epic tweet
NEW: Liquid is moving L-BTC again, but you still cannot redeem it for bitcoin.
Peg-outs have stayed frozen since a September 6 bug in Elements let roughly 4,000 BTC leave the federation reserve, about $320 million at the time.
White hats returned about 3,400 BTC within a day, leaving a hole of about 603 BTC and coverage near 86%.
Blockstream CEO Adam Back says the 1:1 peg will be covered.
Liquid says redemptions stay closed until backing is full, Elements is upgraded, and key management moves toward cold storage.

🔥🚀 IS $KAS ENTERING ITS BITCOIN ERA?
Not one-to-one, But the structure is hard to ignore.
Early adoption, A growing network.
A long period of being underestimated.
Then the parabolic phase starts.
History doesn’t repeat itself, It rhymes.
And there’s one major difference:
Kaspa is built for speed.
10 blocks per second already live.
~100ms block time.
Same proof-of-work foundation.
Very different execution.
That’s what makes the comparison interesting.
If a PoW network can combine Bitcoin-style scarcity and decentralization with much faster settlement, the market may eventually value it very differently from the “just another altcoin” bucket.
Too early to call it the next Bitcoin.
But if you’re looking for a PoW network with a chance at a Bitcoin like adoption curve, $KAS belongs on the list.

$7 = Solana, Tether, BNB, XRP
$20 = Ethereum
$85 = Bitcoin
A pattern emerges👇

#Kaspa is a $1 Billion MC at the moment. But the market’s demand for a permisionless, trustless, thermodynamic ledger (for sound money AND settlement layer) is already in the trillions, with aspirations for the tens of hundreds of trillions!
kaspa:native is a no brainer, because the tech can (will) handle every side of adoption (sound money, settlement layer, privacy, etc…) and there’s a PLETHORA of asymmetric upside 🚀
Study AND BUILD on Kaspa 💚

I checked all 59 coins ahead of Kaspa on CoinMarketCap against shitcoin.watch.
KAS: 62 merit, 2/100 red flags. Goldcoin.
Meanwhile Kaspa is #60 by market cap on CoinMarketCap, with 9 of the 59 above it being rated as shitcoins!!
What's most interessting is that when ranked by merit minus red flags Kaspa lands at #2, behind only BTC!!! 🤯
$KAS is criminally underrated, and we are not bullish enough.

It’s finished.
Over the past weeks, I’ve been working on a video about Kaspa. Not just about speed, but about the idea behind it, the technology that makes it different, and what can now be built on top of it.
From BlockDAG and GHOSTDAG to programmability on Layer 1, this is my attempt to tell that story in a way that goes beyond technical specifications.
Built with respect for the people who made it possible.
A sincere thank you to the developers, researchers, and contributors who continue to build, refine, and push Kaspa forward.
