I almost never cry but I had to strain my eyes to peer through the tears while editing this. I also thought I'd finished but then threw away over a dozen songs before I finally completed the lyrics. "Two slave trades. School teaches one. The bigger one ran longer, and is not dead yet.
The numbers. The Slave Voyages database counts about 388,000 Africans shipped to the United States, of 12.5 million shipped across the Atlantic. The Islamic trade, across the Sahara, the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean, took an estimated 17 million Africans from 650 to 1900, per historian Ralph Austen. Some estimates run to 25 million. It ran about 1,300 years, against the Atlantic's 340.
It was crueler in one way they never mention: male slaves castrated in huge numbers, one reason 17 million left so few descendants. America ended slavery in 1865. Saudi Arabia waited until 1962.
Mauritania was last on earth, 1981, and hereditary slavery is still practiced there. In 2014 ISIS enslaved Yazidi women, citing Islamic law.
And it never actually ended. In 2017 CNN filmed open-air slave auctions in Libya, Black migrants sold for as little as 400 dollars a man. The UN's migration agency had reported it: migrants bought and sold in Sabha, held for ransom, forced to work.
The African Union condemned it, the world cared for one news cycle, everyone moved on. Reports say it never stopped. Black people are being bought and sold in a Muslim country in 2026, and the lecturers have nothing to say.

Slavery is evil wherever it happened, and America's part is a stain. So why does one trade get a month of curriculum and the other gets silence?
Because the liberals who run the schools and the media have a story to protect. It needs America as the villain, and Islam sold to your kids as a religion of peace. This trade destroys both.

Liberals are also better at language and, most importantly, marketing to emotion. I continually make the mistake of trying to sell &/or market with facts and logic. I'm only slightly right on the scale. Remember the popular saying in sales training, "buy with logic and sell with emotion." You dont have to teach a full-on conservative that "buy with logic" part. They naturally want to buy and sell with logic. You dont have to teach the last part to a liberal; they naturally want to buy and sell with emotion. Leftists are a whole other animal.
If you’re right wing and you can’t admit liberals (not communists) are way better at art and design and boutique coffee shops and restaurants, you’re not living in reality.
If you’re left wing and you can’t admit conservatives are way better at running cities and businesses and police departments, you’re not living in reality.
You step inside a beautiful coffee shop in the PNW and think “man, these liberals are great at this stuff…conservatives should take notes.” Then the moment you step outside and trip over a homeless drug zombie shooting up fentanyl on the sidewalk, you think “man these liberals are terrible at this stuff…they should really take notes from conservatives”
Communists make disgusting anti-beauty art, but classical liberals aren’t like that. Put the libs in charge of the coffee shops, put the conservatives in charge of city hall. This is how you get a city that is beautiful, clean, and functional.
If you can’t accept that, you need to check your tribalism. We are never getting rid of each other, so figure out how we strike a balance or else the communists swoop in and take everything from us while we quarrel over stupid bullshit…which is exactly what’s happening now.
This skips the most powerful advantage that legal and illegal immigration gives to Democrat politicians & Rhinos. That is cheap captive labor. When large corporations that contribute campaign money to Democrats are allowed to hire immigrants instead of American citizens, they get not only cheaper payroll, but they can & do abuse those workers and those workers are way more likely to continue working despite the abuse. American citizens are more likely to ask for higher pay, report abuse, and move to a job with a more accommodating employer. The problem is that those better employers have strugled to compete due to the Democrat employers' advantage of cheaper labor. Many have already gone out of business. This is NOT free-market capitalism. This is interference in the market by a political party that becomes more powerful by abusing low-wage immigrant labor to fund its campaigns and reward businesses that support the party while starving out businesses that are more ethical and honest toward employees.

Why do businesses support Democrats? Could it be so they don't have to pay you a living wage? Democrat politicians spend a lot of time complaining about the wealth gap and living wage to insinuate that they're going to do something about that.
The moment they're elected their focus is making sure that businesses get a steady supply of cheap immigrant labor so that they don't have to give you nor the immigrants a living wage and they can continue to increase the wealth gap. As a bonus they get to continue to harp on this to get elected again.

They will be down for about a year. Then during the year of the presidential election, all those prices will go up due to Democrat green policies being reimposed and purposely increasing gas prices through taxation and other means. The legacy media, along with the Democrat politicians, will blame that all on Trump and the Republicans to get the same effect during the election that they got by doing that same thing this election. Leftist Legacy media determines who gets elected by determining who gets credit or blame.

I spent 40 months in Afghanistan in the Army watching what Sharia does to women. Women have NO voice (not even allowed to be HEARD singing), not allowed to vote, get brutally BEATEN for being out and about with no male escort, sold as wives to old ass men as children as young as 8. I saw ALL this up close. Every day. You can scroll my page and see multiple women reaching out from inside those countries sharing their stories. DO NOT listen to these dip shits saying that couldn't happen here! Look at pictures of Afghanistan from the 1960s and 70s. They had freedoms and women were even able to work. You know what happened? They allowed a Marxist government to take over and did not fight tooth and nail to protect their country or their women. PICK UP A BOOK. Not Tik Tok.
