#MV3 was complaining of stiffness in the steering, this could be the in steering rack or column. The column is in 2 pieces with joints to transfer the motion. Cars no longer use universal joints, due to the stop start motion, but instead use CV joints. #F1 #F1tech #AustinGP

Red Bull have made changes to the flexible silicone boots around the suspension ends. These are often 3D printed and bonded into the carbon fibre, to seal and streamline the opening in the outer brake duct. Being elastomer, they flex/crease with movement #F1 #F1tech #AustinGP

As Ferrari finish building the updated car. They check the Hydraulic electronic connections in the nose/frontwing. A temporary hydraulic pipe & electronic cable are fitted. Usually connectors in the nose plug directly into those in the chassis. 馃摳 @DMerinoF1 #F1 #F1tech #AustinGP
