Our employees have been begging us to try a four-day workweek.
I'm open-minded, so we ran a pilot.
Monday through Thursday.
Same salary.
Same workload.
Productivity actually increased.
People were happier.
Turnover dropped.
It was one of the most successful HR experiments we've ever conducted.
So naturally we ended it.
If they can get five days of work done in four days, imagine how much they can get done in five.

Apparently people are folding their grocery bags into tiny perfect triangles now. I thought we all agreed the proper storage method was to nominate the strongest grocery bag and stuff 63 other bags inside it, like our mothers and grandmothers before us.

I took Loki to the vet last week to get him anxiety meds for when we have people over...
and now he won't come out from under the bed to eat the drugged wet food cuz he thinks I'm taking him to the vet again.

Being a PI seems so darn stressful on so many levels. Don't forget to prioritize self care....you have to put your metaphorical oxygen mask on first before helping others.
