One Nation 28. Labor 27. Coalition 21.
A minor party is now ahead of the government in Newspoll, and Labor's primary is at its equal lowest since 2022.
And the RBA hasn't even moved yet. #AusPol

βI read how concerned the people of Australia were about the path Britain has chosen, the path the politicians have taken us down, a path of death, destruction and terrorβ

Elections have consequences.
There are a lot of people right now trying to convince you that America isnβt worth preserving. Some want you to believe this country was rotten from the beginning, others want you to believe it is too far gone to save, and some are simply just sitting this one out.
But as my husband often said, βno black pilling!β
Take that to heart. If you sit out an election because you are disappointed with Republicans, you donβt get an empty government for two years. Somebody still wins and then they get to govern and they will use the power you handed them to turn this great country into one that is unrecognizable.
You inherited the freedom to vote. Donβt squander it.

She went in hoping for a retrial. She came out with life, no parole.
Inflation's back up to 4.3%. Fuel's up 23.6% in a year. Now the RBA might hand us a Melbourne Cup rate hike to 4.85%.

Today, we launched our Open Cabinet Policy
One Nation will introduce Open Cabinet legislation requiring the release of Cabinet documents from previous Labor and Liberal governments as part of an effort to restore public trust.
Party leader Warren Pickering said the most damaging decisions of the Andrews and Allan Labor governments had been made in the dark.
βOne Nation is going to turn on the lights,β Mr Pickering said. βThis secrecy was no accident. It was calculated and deliberate, creating an environment in which Laborβs corruption and incompetence thrived.
βVictorians are still living with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns and quarantine failures, the ballooning cost of the Big Build, the explosion of state debt and a long string of integrity scandals.
βOur state became a laughing stock when Labor spent $589 million of taxpayersβ money cancelling the Commonwealth Games, a figure the Auditor-General called βoverstated and not transparentβ. When the Upper House asked for the documents, Labor refused to hand them over. Meanwhile, IBAC and the Ombudsman found Labor MPs using taxpayer-funded staff to stack party branches.
βLabor locked Victorians in their homes for 262 days, longer than any city on earth. They put Melbourne under curfew and told us it was health advice. We now know it wasnβt. Their own
public health commander wrote that the curfew βhas not arisen from public health adviceβ and was βa decision taken by Cabinetβ. Getting that one email out of them took four and a half years and a fight in the Court of Appeal.
βCabinet documents from that era remain locked away for decades β Victorians cannot see the advice or options presented to Cabinet, or the deliberations which led to these
horrendous outcomes. When decisions never see daylight there is no real accountability, no pressure to get it right, and every incentive to hide cost blow-outs, protect mates and cover mistakes. Thatβs exactly what happened under Labor.
βTrust in government in Victoria is utterly broken.β
Mr Pickering said within its first 100 days a One Nation government would introduce
legislation requiring the release of Cabinet submissions, decisions, agendas, minutes and related papers from the previous Labor and Liberal governments. Priority would be given to documents of critical public interest relating to the pandemic response, hotel quarantine, the Big Build and major projects, fiscal strategy and debt, and integrity matters. The first tranche of documents would be released within six months, with complete release within 18 months.
βThere will be independent oversight and clear appeal rights,β he said. βRedactions will be applied narrowly; every single one will be independently reviewed, and must be justified. Documents will be published on a searchable public portal.
βGoing forward, a One Nation government will adopt a model similar to that used in
Queensland and New Zealand. Cabinet submissions, decisions and attachments will be published within 30 business days.
βAn ethical democratic government does not fear transparency, scrutiny and accountability.
An ethical democratic government embraces these principles.β

Sad to see Sky News, now News 24, become just another clickbait merchant.
I just interviewed David Farley MP myself and found him perfectly forthright on the question of his loyalty to The One Nation Party
Sky used to be different, then during Covid they lost their moral compass and lost their way.
Now they're barely distinguishable from the rest of the Misinformation Industrial Complex, aka, MSM.
Albanese hand-delivered a letter offering One Nation's David Farley a $200,000 adviser he never asked for. Farley knocked it back.
One Nation's been asking for fair staffing for months. Albo's answer was a side deal.
One staffer for one MP. The rest of the party still waiting. #AusPol
Labor's promising to fix 500,000 potholes four weeks out from polling day.
The Auditor-General already says nearly half of Victoria's roads are in poor or very poor condition.
Twelve years in charge and they've just noticed. #SpringSt
