🚨Kathy Hochul having the best latkes in America at THE STURGEON KING 🐟👑
NEW: On The Road from the legend, BARNEY GREENGRASS, where @KathyHochul came to play
On Mamdani, Bibi, Trump, Tisch, her own plans to run again in '30 (sorry @PatRyanUC !) and, oh yes, Andrew >>
Were you relieved when Zohran Mamdani beat Andrew Cuomo here?
I knew he was going to win. I thought he brought a new energy to the party. Again, differences on approaches to the Jewish community, Israel and all that — that’s another topic. But I think people enjoyed seeing someone that had a very fresh look at the city and saw the possibilities. And I’m an optimist.
But your life has been easier having him versus having Andrew, right? It would have been a very different scenario here if you were having Andrew. It would’ve been that old model that you just mentioned of the historic clash between the governor and the mayor, Albany versus the city.
Yeah, but I would have been the one on top because I’m the governor

His Spineless Congressman costume was great too.

.@NYCMayor & @GovKathyHochul took the “G” train to Nassau Avenue - Mamdani returning the favor to Hochul, after she campaigned for him back to back weekends last year.
North Brooklyn is a hotspot of Mamdani voters per figures from last year’s mayoral.

One of the best ways to understand someone is by exploring their relationship to place.
A genuinely excellent profile of Kathy Hochul:
NEW: @GovKathyHochul's vision for New York has been largely shaped by her upbringing in a failing western New York town and her family’s ascent from a trailer park to affluence.

Good ad.
A head-turning new "Michigan First" ad from @AbdulElSayed - he names some issue he agrees with MAGA voters on, then plays a supercut of Fox News hosts/Tucker praising him or bashing Mike Rogers. semafor.com/article/10/23/20…
Imagine committing a PR blunder so bad you have to spend nearly $4 million to fix it.

under Hochul, New York is undergoing the most ambitious transit expansion in half a century: IBX, SAS phase 2, and now the 125th st subway
very excited to vote for her!
Want to know why @GovKathyHochul left it all on the field to get Stop Super Speeders passed into law this year? Look no further.
Slower speeds save lives!
The number of drivers who have racked up 16 or more speed camera tickets in a one-year period is spiking, right as legislation to slow them down comes up for a vote.

Excited yet?
Governor Hochul provided $50 million to fund the early stages of this work — and secured historic changes to state law to allow it to move forward faster.
That’s real leadership for uptown.
The MTA is proposing a new 125 Street Subway, which would extend west from the future 125 St/Lexington Av Q station. The project would connect existing subway lines—including the Second Avenue Subway—and bus routes along the corridor.

🕳️ Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday that the state had filled in 1 million potholes, transforming the annoying craters into “not-holes” ahead of winter.
Hochul was in Hempstead on Long Island last weekend to fill in the 1 millionth hole near the Meadowbrook Parkway.
“Potholes can’t run and they can’t hide, and we are finding them and putting them out of everyone’s misery,” the governor said in a statement.
Of the 1 million potholes filled outside of New York City in recent months, there were 156,000 on Long Island and another 150,000 in the Hudson Valley. About 694,000 more were filled in upstate.
Outside of New York City, motorists are urged to call 1-800-POTHOLE (1-800-768-4653) to report potholes on any State-owned highway, including the Thruway. In New York City, motorists can report potholes by dialing 311.
