I was actually scammed twice that day in that same African shop. I also bought "goat" meat from them that turned out to be mutton. I know what goat tastes like. Rather than raise a fuss, I just stopped going to that shop.

Very sad news. Sincere condolences to the Woods family. I have fond memories of Denis Woods reading the market reports on ZNBC when LuSE was in its infancy in the mid 90s. MHSRIEP.
Really saddened by the news of the death of Mr Denis Wood or Uncle Denis as we called him during our pre marriage classes he conducted with his wife at St Ignatius. What a great, funny & inspiring couple they were. Our paths would also cross lots of times when I worked for JCTR. A jovial & great man. Heartfelt condolences to the Wood family. MHSRIEP 🕊️

As society we need to normalise knocking out these dumb cunts who think it funny to go round bothering people who are just going about their business.
Can we start a GoFundMe for this guy A Hard-working father who wants to be at home with his kids In America, hard work is punished while laziness and goofiness are rewarded.

If GRZ applied the Windfall Tax today as was written in 2008, the mines would be losing money. Zambia Minerals Investment Corporation Limited (ZMIC) was established to address this same thing. We need to wait for more details about ZMIC
Copper is nearing US$15,000 per tonne on the LME. Imagine how much we would be coining with Windfall Tax right now.

If you want to invest in LuSE stocks that consistently pay dividends, LuSE has 4 Dividend Aristocrats...these companies have paid dividends for the past 10 years

I use a number of tools, Wolfram Alpha for the calculations, P5.js, D3.js for data & infographics, Obsidian for document analysis via Claude Fable 5.1 and Elevenlabs to turn my scripts into voice narration, then I have a python script that puts everything together

Unfortunately, the majority of retail investors do not understand that a good company and a good price are different questions..
Thinking of buying the Amalgamated Brands IPO? Read this first. AB is a good-looking company. But a good company and a good price are two different questions. I went through the prospectus and ran the numbers. Here’s what stood out. 👇 View article

My aim is to help ordinary retail investors like my elderly parents understand what they are investing in. I'll share whatever I learn

Thank you for taking the time to response. I would genuinely like to hear about the journey behind the first property and what you feel I missed in my review. I’m happy to correct anything that I got wrong.

Here is my view of One Square K. I used a number of tools to create this. The most important being an Analysis Skill that I created. A skill is basically an MD (Markdown) file that contains precise instructions on how a task should be performed based on Warren Buffet's investemnt style. My md file has 16 stages and part of stage 1 is below. I then used Obsidian to ingest the prospectus and apply the rules in my skills md file Stage 1 — Understand the business Before any numbers, answer: What does this company actually sell or do, and to whom? How does it make money? (revenue model in one paragraph) Who are its main competitors? What would have to be true in 10 years for this business to still exist and be profitable? If you cannot answer these questions confidently from the available information, say so plainly. Buffett's rule: "Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing." It is better to say "I don't have enough information to evaluate this business" than to hallucinate. The first version is about 7 min 30 sec or you can play the second version that is almost 3 min Remember, these are just my opinions and not investment advice
Thank you for sharing the link. I spend the next couple of hours of this evening and the better part of tomorrow going through this 145 page prospectus and I'll share my thoughts. Just so we are clear, I am not a qualified investment advisor...I just share my opinions.

Agreed, I was considering the Shark as a daily drive. Only makes sense if you buy to hold and never sell
