I sometimes get asked why I switched from spending most of my time fighting the Left to debating within the Right.
The culture is changing in a fundamental way. I'm convinced the future is right-wing.
The only question is whether it will be right-wing socialism run by petty and stupid tyrants, or right-wing liberty ordered by a virtuous populace. I will fight and die to make sure it's the latter.

I would HAPPILY forego every dollar that was ever taken out of my paycheck for Social Security if it meant that my child and grandchildren were no longer economically shackled to the corpse of this New Deal Ponzi scheme.
I never wanted a Social Security check, I never expected a Social Security check, and I don’t need a Social Security check.
Most Gen Xers would happily write the whole program off as a loss since none of us ever expected to receive Social Security to begin with.
The money is gone and already spent. There is no “lock box” or personal savings account that my social security contributions have gone into. Nor do I care how much money you THINK the federal government owes because it doesn’t.
Again.
Gen X doesn’t need Social Security. We already took care of our retirement plans ourselves.
This entitlement scheme needs to end with us.

The problem with Protestants like this is they niche down on weird micro-theology until they move to closed communion.
Which, ironically, gives them common ground with the Catholics they're mad at.
Maybe the Catholics who are attacking me have interacted with too many Protestant adult juveniles like this one.
Well, certainly an interesting method to try to convert a Protestant to Catholicism.
In regards to the Protestant church being a "cancer" to Christianity, the great schism hit a few hundred years prior. Work it out with the Orthodox, who also hold the one true church claim.
Which, as a non-Catholic, I can respectfully disagree with...and point out that John Paul II allowed concessions for the death penalty.
