My daughter came to my study last night and asked me for some soothing words for her Jewish friend who is afraid because of Hamas’ global call for Jihad tomorrow. I tried to contextualize her fears by reminding her what we went through in Lebanon. We lived relatively free from these worries for decades in Canada. No longer true. All in the name of suicidal progressive ideals. Heartbreaking.
