A lot of things have to be fixed in BC, but Lorne Doerkson needs to address one issue above all else.
He needs to send a crew of archologists from another country to Kamloops, and they need to start digging up that old septic field.

It’s never easy being the outsider standing up for freedom and raising issues others would rather avoid. @Dallas_Brodie and the @One_BCHQ team have helped expand the Overton window, giving more people the courage to speak openly and challenge ideas that once went unquestioned.
To every supporter and volunteer feeling discouraged: you helped make that possible, and disappointing results don’t erase that contribution. Changing what people are willing to discuss helps change what becomes politically possible—and that’s a bigger win than many people realize!
Too many voters celebrate the small wins and drift back to sleep. Meanwhile, the same politicians we voted out are back — now calling themselves conservatives.
My late mother, with her limited English, summed up BC politics better than any pundit: "Both parties steal. But the NDP burns down the building after they loot it."
I want to see the CPBC's audit of the last government's spending.
At least 27,000+ British Columbians saw through it on election night. That's where the hope lies.
Do you see the bigger picture of what just happened in British Columbia? If you think the few months were simply political infighting, you’re missing something much bigger.
We had a democratically elected Conservative leader. A real conservative. Kerry-Lynne Findlay had grassroots support, a clear vision, and something rare in Canadian politics: the backbone to follow through.
But there was a problem.
She wasn’t aligned with the federal Liberals or the globalist agenda I believe is driving this country.
She proposed a Western coalition to challenge federal overreach, fight the gun grab, defend freedom of religion and expression, enshrine property rights, and protect digital free speech.
She wasn’t promising to fight back. She was preparing to do it.
That threatened more than a few political careers.
A provincial government willing to challenge Ottawa? A leader who couldn’t be controlled by the usual power brokers?
That was a problem.
Then came the operatives, lobbyists, and party insiders. The backroom scheming, attempts to undermine her leadership, and ultimately blackmail.
I watched it unfold.
And eventually, they got what they wanted.
Goodbye KLF. Goodbye grassroots democracy.
Party bosses installed their own leader without a membership vote, then moved to rewrite the constitution so he wouldn’t face a leadership race.
The members elected a leader. Insiders replaced her and moved to change the rules to keep their man in power.
No vote. No accountability. No voice for members.
All TWO DAYS before an election writ dropped.
Just another coincidence?
Now zoom out.
This is bigger than BC.
Canada is being pushed toward centralized power, diminished freedoms, and increasingly powerless citizens.
Call it globalism. Call it the political ruling class. Call it whatever you want.
Look what’s happening.
Mass immigration is transforming Canada, while election laws don’t require voters to produce documentary proof of citizenship.
You can declare yourself a citizen without producing citizenship documents at the ballot box.
In BC, you can vote without presenting your own ID if another voter vouches for you.
Citizenship determines who shapes this country’s future. Why aren’t we demanding stronger verification?
Non-citizens cannot legally vote. But a prohibition and the safeguards enforcing it are different things.
Now ask yourself.
If powerful political interests are shaping this country’s direction, how do you keep the population from revolting?
Give them the illusion of choice.
Change the jerseys. Change the faces. Give people a few victories.
No more free drugs. A marginal tax adjustment. A handful of promises.
The sheep celebrate.
The sheep go back to sleep.
Different shepherd. Same direction.
Globalists advance their agenda. Government promises to reverse it, but doesn’t. Elections come and go, but the same insiders, lobbyists, and powerful interests remain.
Canadians keep fighting over which jersey deserves their loyalty.
The greatest political illusion is convincing people they’re in control while ensuring their choices never threaten those holding power.
Give the sheep just enough hope. Just enough change. Just enough outrage at the other team.
Keep them divided, distracted, and fighting each other instead of questioning who’s directing the herd.
How many broken promises? Political betrayals? Conservative governments that conserve absolutely nothing?
How much worse does Canada need to get before people wake up?
Real change doesn’t come from changing jerseys. It comes from changing who holds power.
The power brokers won this round in BC.
But here’s what they should fear.
The day the sheep realize they’re being herded is the day the shepherds lose control.
Stop worshipping parties. Stop celebrating crumbs. Stop mistaking a change of jerseys for a change of direction.
The illusion only works as long as we believe it.
Wake up, Canada.
First Nations won’t be happy until we have a FN Prime Minister and the entire western hemisphere is renamed Turtle Island.

I think you’re forgetting the per-vote subsidy bonuses, Robert. You were party treasurer during the 2024 election, correct? Maybe you can shed some light on who received bonuses and how much. Let’s start with Connor Gibson. Did he receive a bonus, and if so, how much? I’ve heard some pretty substantial figures being thrown around. Care to clarify?

The blue wave 🌊 is coming if the liberals like it or not
If Mark Carney is so popular how did Conservatives win in B.C.? They haven’t won in 98 years. And it’s a supermajority at that.
And Conservatives also just won 19 seats in the Quebec election. They haven’t won a seat in that legislature in 91 years.
Liberal supporters have convinced themselves that the ridings of the 5 CPC floor-crossers are now Liberal strongholds.
They have everything to lose during the next election and they are lashing out right now on this platform.

ARE CANADIANS WAKING UP??
B.C. just elected its first Conservative government since 1928. 🗳️
Add it up.
Seven of 10 provinces now have conservative or centre-right governments, home to roughly 72% of Canadians.
Newfoundland flipped last fall after a decade of Liberal rule.
Quebec wiped the CAQ out completely and sent 19 Conservatives to the National Assembly.
Nearly 11 years of Liberal Ottawa, and the map keeps turning blue. 🤦🏻♂️
At this rate we'll need a new flag. 🍁💙
Pay attention, eh? 🇨🇦

Very interesting perspective. It’s not about left versus right. It’s about people and unaccountable government.

KIM HENDERSON Backgrounder --
Why her background fits a transition team: From a machinery-of-government standpoint, the appointment is relatively straightforward to understand.
A new government suddenly needs to deal with Cabinet formation, mandate development, briefing books, deputy ministers, Treasury Board, expenditure authorities, Crown corporations, legislation, regulatory priorities and the handoff from one administration to another.
Henderson has previously worked near the centre of virtually all of those systems.
Since you asked, Kris, here is a little more detail.
This post is referring to **Kim Henderson**, a long-serving senior British Columbia public servant who reached essentially the highest non-elected administrative position in the provincial government.
Henderson is not primarily a political operative. Her career has been concentrated in the professional public service, government administration, Treasury Board, fiscal management and strategic policy. That distinction matters when assessing why Lorne Doerkson selected her to chair the transition team.
Who Kim Henderson is:
Henderson joined the BC Public Service in 1996** and subsequently held a succession of increasingly senior positions. By March 2016, Premier Christy Clark appointed her **Deputy Minister to the Premier, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the BC Public Service. BC Gov News
news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016…
That combination of positions placed her at the administrative centre of government.
As Deputy Minister to the Premier, she was the premier's most senior public-service adviser. As Cabinet Secretary, she was involved in the machinery through which Cabinet decisions are developed, documented and implemented. As Head of the Public Service, she sat above the deputy-minister structure across government.
The Conservative Party announcement says she was responsible for oversight of government policy and operations and served as the government's chief policy and strategy adviser to Cabinet. Conservative Party of British Columbia
conservativebc.ca/premier-el…
Her qualifications and government experience
Her résumé is unusually relevant to a government transition because she has worked across several of the systems an incoming premier immediately has to understand:
- Deputy Minister to the Premier, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the BC Public Service, until 2017. Conservative Party of British Columbia
conservativebc.ca/premier-el…
- Deputy Minister of Finance and Secretary to Treasury Board, giving her direct experience with provincial budgeting, expenditure control and the machinery surrounding Treasury Board decisions. Public Policy Forum
ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender…
- Deputy Minister of Corporate Initiatives in the Office of the Premier**, where she led cross-government initiatives and was the public-service lead for the government's Core Review. BC Gov News
news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016…
- Deputy Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Citizens' Services and Open Government. In the latter role, she led development of BC's open-government strategy. BC Gov News
news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016…
- Earlier in her career she was an Assistant Deputy Minister of Transition Services, appearing in that capacity in the Legislature as early as 2004. LIMS
lims.leg.bc.ca/hdms/file/Deb…
Her portfolio experience reportedly encompasses strategic policy, legislation and regulation, human resources, information technology, government real estate and organizational review. Conservative Party of British Columbia
conservativebc.ca/premier-el…
Fiscal and government-review experience:
This is probably one of the more important pieces of her background given what Doerkson has been saying about reviewing government finances.
Henderson led BC's Core Review of government services, an exercise intended to examine duplication, administrative efficiency, regulation, program delivery and government structure.
Contemporary BC government documentation identifies her directly as the deputy minister responsible for that work. BC Gov News
news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2013…
Then, in 2019, Alberta appointed her to the MacKinnon Panel, formally the Blue Ribbon Panel on Alberta's Finances. The panel reviewed government spending, budgeting practices, fiscal sustainability and Alberta's economic position. The Alberta government identifies Henderson as one of the panel members specifically because of her BC finance and senior-government experience. Alberta.ca
alberta.ca/mackinnon-report-…
So she has actually participated in the type of fiscal and organizational review that an incoming government frequently undertakes.
Private-sector and economic-policy work:
After leaving the BC Public Service, Henderson became a principal with Sproat Advising, advising businesses on government strategy, economic and climate policy and procurement. The Public Policy Forum describes her as having almost 20 years of senior public-sector experience. Public Policy Forum ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender…
Her consulting work has included major-project development and sectors such as:
- oil and gas
- mining
- forestry
- Indigenous negotiations
- economic and climate policy
- government procurement. Conservative Party of British Columbia
conservativebc.ca/premier-el…
She also became a Fellow with the Public Policy Forum and participated in reports dealing with Canadian exports, competitiveness and economic policy. Public Policy Forum
ppforum.ca/publications/clim…
Trans Mountain:
More recently, Henderson has been associated with Trans Mountain Corporation.
The Conservative announcement says she began advising Trans Mountain in 2022 and became an interim vice-president in October 2025. She is taking an unpaid leave from Trans Mountain effective October 25, 2026 while chairing Doerkson's transition team, and the transition position itself is unpaid. Conservative Party of British Columbia
conservativebc.ca/premier-el…
That experience potentially gives her another perspective that is relevant to the incoming government's stated interest in major infrastructure, resource development, pipelines and interprovincial projects.
Education and professional recognition:
Henderson holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, awarded in 2002. UVic subsequently gave her its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2015. UVic.ca
uvic.ca/alumni/awards/past-r…
She was also named to the Women's Executive Network Top 100 in 2012 in recognition of her public-sector leadership. Public Policy Forum
ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender…
An important distinction about Christy Clark:
The wording in the post you showed me slightly understates her position when it calls her merely a "former deputy minister to premier Christy Clark."
She wasn't simply **a deputy minister working under Clark**.
She ultimately became:
Deputy Minister to the Premier + Cabinet Secretary + Head of the entire BC Public Service.
That is one of the most senior positions an unelected official can occupy in the provincial government. BC Gov News
news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016…
And her BC public-service career predates Clark substantially. Henderson entered the public service in 1996 and served during both the Gordon Campbell and Christy Clark governments.
Canadian Press describes her as having spent more than a decade serving those BC Liberal administrations. National Newswatch
nationalnewswatch.com/2026/1…
Why her background fits a transition team:
From a machinery-of-government standpoint, the appointment is relatively straightforward to understand.
There is another aspect worth watching, however. Her recent Trans Mountain work, resource-sector consulting, Indigenous-negotiation experience and previous participation in fiscal reviews could provide clues about the policy architecture Doerkson intends to establish.
That does not prove what policies will follow, but it gives us some useful areas to monitor as the transition team is assembled.

Good Morning Women of British Columbia! Welcome to the resistance. Your job is to protect the children. Trust your instinct. Gently welcome others to form new opinions. We Keep Going!
Dallas Brodie made it possible for the BC Conservatives to win.
She took all the bullets by speaking out against the Reconciliation Industrial Complex and calling out the mass graves hoax in Kamloops.
The BC Cons adopted OneBC policies and owe their win to people who were more brave than them to speak out.
It remains to be seen how long they will act conservative. Will young Carson Binda stand up in the BC Legislature to say the hard things that Dallas said? We’ll see.
Don’t be surprised if they disappoint, though.
Dallas kept the pressure on them and will continue to keep pressure on for them to actually act like conservatives do.
I remain skeptical considering they have not confronted Pavneet Singh and his sexual crimes while willing to kick Dallas out over a tweet.
Will they repeal DRIPA? Will they root SOGI out of schools? Who will have the spine to stand up to the entitled chiefs who just want to extort BC taxpayers and throw temper tantrums if they don’t get their way?
Will weak-willed men stand up? You better hope so, BC.
You better hope so.
I am so honoured to have stood beside Dallas and contribute my efforts to OneBC.
My principles remain intact. 😎🥳
