In college many players quickest path to playing time is on special teams. In the NFL bottom of the roster guys are making or not making rosters because of value they can or can’t add via special teams. If you’re a Running Back, Wide Receiver, Tight End, Linebacker, or Defensive Back and you aren’t on or asking to be on Special Teams you’re doing yourself a disservice.

Working on technique by himself. Hitting the sled, by himself. No coaches. Their best player. Their senior captain. Their 1st team all-conference guy.
