Something big has been happening this week, and with all the news happening, you probably didn’t hear about it.
MPs from every federal party except the Liberals and Conservatives have banded together — and they’re sounding the alarm about Carney's destructive policies:

This woman was raped at Cornell. She explains that her rapist got an essay - just like Jane Doe's case.
A CNN investigation found that "half of the 16 Cornell University students found responsible for sexual assault over a recent 4 year period avoided suspension or expulsion. Instead, they were punished with written reprimands, disciplinary probations, and extra study programs."

In our current context, we are caught up in the plays of political and religious leaders, influencers, and commentators. The problems of our present often seem unsolvable and unprecedented because we attribute a kind of permanence to them. We are well-aware of the rise of populism and demagogues.

This is called terrorism and it is being committed by Israel and funded by the United States.
Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks.
Caught in the attack was Post photographer Heidi Levine. “They just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,” Levine said. wapo.st/4yt6dHY

BREAKING: Neha Bora, the national president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), was unlawfully detained by Delhi Police on Friday while en route to a protest at Connaught Place called by the Cockroach Jantha Party (CJP). AISA says Bora was picked up by plainclothes officers and taken to an undisclosed location in a vehicle with blacked-out windows.
Bora’s lawyer has appealed to the Delhi Police Commissioner, alleging that the authorities are illegally concealing her location and preventing her from receiving legal counsel or communicating with her family.
Police on Friday also detained CJP founding leader Abhijeet Dipke, after they say he was warned not to attend the Connaught Place demonstration, as well as around 150 other people. Organizers say they have been barred from entering the police station as they seek answers about the activists’ whereabouts.

My latest is out. You may not know that Indigenous leaders and organizations across the country are warning about this…
This is Mark Carney’s baby. It’s his big answer to Trump’s trade war and all that 51st-state talk: build Canada so strong nobody can swallow it. Funny how protecting Canada from a land grab starts with a land grab of its own.

Those twisting the tragic killing of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota into a Hindu vs. Sikh issue need to have some shame
Drugs kill Sikhs and Hindus equally
In 2019, Neha, a Hindu drug inspector, was shot dead in Mohali simply for taking action against illegal drugs

Also, Sikhs are just 2.1% of Canada’s population, yet Sikh Nation is one of Canadian Blood Services’ largest donor groups — and its largest Partners for Life group in B.C. & Yukon.
Far beyond our share. How does that happen?

A woman at a Trump rally demanded the release of the Epstein files.
She was promptly beaten by men in the audience and then carted off by security while her assailants were allowed to remain and received congratulatory high fives and accolades from Trump.

The Tribune’s headline is trying to show that Jhota’s murder is a case of rivalry.
It is a matter of utter shame.
