Being a woman who grew up gaming, I experienced a lot shit from people who wanted me to 'prove it'.
I don't mind it much, but sometimes I feel myself getting defensive when someone offers me unsolicited & oversimplified advice about the game I'm playing.
It's a totally normal thing to do, especially if that person is super passionate about the game, I just can't help but feel my brain revert back to 10 years ago.
It's not their fault and It's something I am working on, but I just wonder if anyone else feels this way sometimes?
