Every single time this little guy opens his mouth, he does this
I think we can all agree how stupid Daylight Saving Time is! So, instead of falling back an hour this weekend, I say we spring forward four hours. That way LSU v. Bama will kickoff when it’s supposed to, and the Tide can experience a true Saturday Night in Death Valley!

Giant cash machines like Meta and Google are now negative cash flow; OpenAI and Anthropic have been from the start.* (*With the arguable exception of one anomalous quarter with a big subsidy.) There is at least an 80% chance that this will turn out to be the greatest capital misallocation in history.
META may be new to the negative cash flow club, but not GOOGL: free cash flow was negative for a second straight quarter, -$9.1bn vs -$3.5bn consensus. Trailing-12-month FCF collapsed 73% to $19.7bn, from $73.6bn a year ago.

🚨 US LAWMAKERS ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE AI BUBBLE TO BURST. House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing government bailouts for AI companies if the industry crashes. Instead of rescuing them with taxpayer money, lawmakers want failed AI companies to go through normal bankruptcy. And the timing is extremely concerning. Some of the world's biggest tech companies are investing billions into AI startups that spend heavily on their products. • Nvidia invests in CoreWeave, which buys Nvidia chips. • Microsoft invests in OpenAI, which spends billions on Microsoft's cloud services. • Amazon invests in Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud infrastructure. Billions are moving between companies that are becoming increasingly dependent on each other's spending. And lawmakers are raising concerns about the growing use of borrowed money by Big Tech and Wall Street to finance the AI boom. The resolution is not law, but it shows that some lawmakers are already worried about what happens if the industry collapses. If AI startups run out of funding, they could be forced to slash spending or declare bankruptcy, leaving their investors and suppliers facing massive losses. And without government bailouts, a major failure could spread across chipmakers, cloud providers, banks and the broader stock market. The biggest risk is that one major AI bankruptcy could trigger losses across an entire industry worth trillions.

Warms my heart to see signs with poorly-scribbled marker on them instead of the God awful AI ones making the rounds lately.

Can’t believe Tom Verducci forgot to ask Cooper Pratt what Ole Miss means to him. Missed opportunity

NEW: Lane Kiffin on LSU-Alabama getting the 2:30 p.m. CT slot instead of the night game he expected: "If someone thinks the SEC wants us to win this year after what’s been going on, they must have just been on Mars the last four months. So I guess when I look at it that way, I’m not surprised." on3.com/news/lane-kiffin-tak…

BREAKING: House Democrats have preemptively introduced a resolution to stop the federal government from bailing out AI companies in the event of the industry collapsing. The bill says these companies should be subjected to the ordinary bankruptcy process.

Ponch Fifteen years ago a friend showed up at my doorstep and said, “here Kenny, you need to learn to attach to something.” That’s the day Poncho entered my life. I’ve heard a dog enters your life when you need it most. And not just any dog, a specific dog just for you. To help you, to heal you, to show you how to accept unconditional love and give it back. Poncho did all that and more. He brought so much joy, energy, light, and fun into mine and Mary’s life. He was a constant companion, very curious, had swagger, and smarter than the average human. He loved being on the boat, the bus, backstage with Jill and the production team. He loved the smell of the ocean and the islands like his dad and loved all the smells walking down the streets of Key West, Florida. One of his proudest moments was prancing on stage at Soldier Field in Chicago in 2024. I thought it would scare him but he loved feeling the energy of the crowd and refused to leave the stage. Instead of being timid, he was a show off a lot like me. That was a favorite moment in 15 years of favorite moments. We lost Poncho at 5:15am this morning and my heart is broken but yet so full cause I know he gave us all he had. We went down a lot of roads, lived a lot of life, and saw a lot of sunsets together. Poncho, my friend was right. I needed you and I thank you. Our connection and our bond will live forever and I’m gonna miss you. Say hello to DaRubaGirl for us. Goodbye Poncho. You were one heaven of a dog.

“I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT” is the single saddest sentence i’ve ever heard
Jimmy Fallon asks Sam Altman if he uses ChatGPT to raise the baby he has with his husband, and his answer is hilarious Jimmy Fallon: “You, you and your husband just had a baby. Congratulations, yeah. How old? How old is the baby?” Sam Altman: “Eight month old?” Jimmy Fallon: “Are you loving him?” Sam Altman: “So much. I have no non-cliched thing to say, but it is by far so much better than anything anyone tells you. I just so incredibly happy.” Jimmy Fallon: “And do you use ChatGPT when, when raising your baby?” Sam Altman: “I do. I mean I feel kind of bad about it because I, we have this like genius level at everything, intelligence sitting there like waiting to unravel the mysteries of humanity.” “And I'm like, why my kid stop dropping his pizza on the floor and laughing?” “So I feel like I'm not asking a good enough question.” “But it is, I don't know. I cannot imagine having gone through like figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT. Clearly people did it for a long time, no problem.”
