Just a few days now to #GeneralElection2024 Thank you to all the candidates and @UKLabour activists I've met in marginals around the country - for their good humour and work over many months. Particular thanks to @Keir_Starmer for restoring hope. Now let's finish the job...

Great to be out with #Slough #LabourParty team to gather hundreds of signatures to save our #library and The Curve building. National Tory austerity drive has decimated public services; we cannot allow them locally to take away our central library for the first time since 1939.

Slough Tories pass their budget of broken promises. After shamelessly misleading Slough residents, they have now broken all manifesto commitments made in their election literature. (1/2)

Great to be out campaigning in #Slough with our brilliant #ThamesValley Police & Crime Commissioner Candidate @TimLabour. After 14 years of Tory failures, many people agree with the #change offered by @UKLabour on tackling #crime and especially its #NewDeal for Working People.

Asylum decisions collapsing by 40% since 2015, so taxpayers paying over £6 million a day for hotels to house migrants. Meanwhile Home Office failed to test if spending was value for money and follow contract guidance! After 13 years, is there anything this Govt can do properly?

Labour has a plan to tackle the Tory cost of living crisis and revitalise our high streets. We would: ✂️ Cut business rates ⏰ Stamp out late payments ⚡ Cut energy bills 🛍️ Revamp empty shops 👮‍♀️ Tackle antisocial behaviour with 13,000 more neighbourhood police and PSCOs
