I hate the clocks going backwards and forwards. When I was young, we didn’t even have clocks. If we got hungry, we ate each other. We were poor, but we were happy. Good times. Not that we had time. It hadn’t been invented. We had to make our own time out of string and cholera.

One of the greatest performances ever! She simply stands there and sings, letting her extraordinary voice do all the talking. No dancers, no flashy gimmicks, no auto-tune—just pure talent and a voice that speaks straight to the soul. 🎤✨

“The film proves that the most specific landscapes can articulate far-reaching truths, and is a reminder that it’s past time for the ‘British’ cinematic canon to include more languages than English”

Every minister in the new Plaid Cymru Cabinet is a fluent Cymraeg speaker. For the first time in 622 years, since the parliament of Owain Glyndŵr, our government will hold its Cabinet meetings in Cymraeg, the mother-tongue of our nation, and indigenous language of Britain 🏴
