I've mentioned before that, despite what common sense might tell you, SoCal was not the musclecar capitol of the world. In sales terms, Chicago was almost always the number one zone for most makes and models. Brigance was one of the many hi-perf Chevy dealers in Chicago.

I've always wondered if the experimental cam I saw at the dealer in Chicago back in the '80's had anything to do with the lobes that eventually became the 1087 and 1190 cams. Likely not, but I like to think I was watching history being made.

It was lumpy. 289/299 on a 112 lobe. Ran it in a .30 over 302 with 1.7 rockers which made it .534/576 (Had that set-up in the car I took my wife on our first date in). The specs don't tell the story, though. Works fine in a 351 set-up; it's magic in a 302. Norm's old car pic'd.

I have helped out a tiny fawn inside my back fence who got stuck, separated from its doe, & a confused/drunk? whistlepig (groundhog) who couldn't find his burrow-under-fence spot to get back out. We also left some stump piles unburned out back, to grow foliage back & serve as micro-ecosystem nesting grounds for various varmints (coon, possum, butterflies, etc). We should try to look out for our lil buddies. Granddad impressed upon me that we are stewards of this place, not owners.

Public places like grocery stores, clothing stores, restaurants, etc need to start putting up “NO STREAMING” signs and immediately kick people out for it
There need to be laws crafted that carry heavy fines, and permanent trespassing for streaming in no streaming establishments
Destroy this disgusting industry immediately. It should have been killed in the cradle, now it’s an out of control monster
