I am not visibly Jewish (except for being exceptionally goodlooking) and I have the last name of someone who could be the senior partner at a white-shoe Episcopalian Law Firm ( Ellis Island really did a creative number on our original family name.)
So, yes, I often pass as I stand there listening to the most heinous antisemitism spouting in elevators in LA. It's amazing how truly Nazi 1930s that LA has become.
I have a friend who is not visibly Jewish and doesn't have a Jewish name. He told me, You would never believe how many people are consistently negative toward Jews. I said, I honestly have not really seen that. He said, well, they won't say it to you... yet.
I think it is important to come to terms with this. What we do about it is up to each of us.

there's literally never been a better time in history to homeschool your kids with AI
you can now just prompt it to create an entire curriculum for your kid, give lessons, generate interactive quizzes to see what they're actually learning, explain things in a hundred different ways until they understand, adapt the difficulty and pace to their progress, generate videos, etc etc
you could probably give your kids a much better education in a fraction of the time they'd otherwise spend sitting in a classroom learning the same things at the same pace as 30 other kids
and then spend all that extra time playing with them, exploring, doing sports, reading, traveling, whatever
it's actually insane when you think about it

Why you should vote Republican.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesnโt happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

As a father who just chose not to send my older son to public school, here's what's happening:
1. NYC public schools are full of woke, mentally ill people. The teachers, the students, the counselors, everyone is wacked out. If you're just a normal parent that wants a normal school with a normal focus on education, good behavior, friendship, manners, etc. you are shit out of luck.
2. While there are some good elementary schools, most middle schools are atrocious, and result in some of the biggest drops in education outcomes. Even if you send your kid to a good elementary public school, you're 100% going to move in time for middle school. And if you make it to high school, your only hope are the specialized schools, but mamdani the islamist is intent on destroying them, which would completely fuck your kids.
3. The average kid in an average NYC public school is stupid as hell. 70% do not read proficiently for their grade level. They can't do math. They have a ton of behavioral issues and are bad influences on your kid.
As a normal father of a normal family I'm paying an absurd amount of taxes and for what? My hard earned money is being wasted on the comically evil teachers union, paying adult day care fraudsters, and subsidizing the "73% of public school students in poverty." This is just a scam. Those kids are not in poverty. Their parents work under the table, don't report anything to not pay taxes, and get ridiculous government subsidies.
Everyone is running a scam and families like mine are paying for it. It's no wonder so many of my peers left and despite living in NYC for coming on 30 years, I probably will too at some point.
Today my office has released a major new report on student enrollment in NYC.
We found that k-12 enrollment in our public schools has fallen by 187k since 2013, with a projected decline of an additional 128k students by 2034.
As total enrollment declines, NYCPS is serving a student population with growing needs. The number of students with disabilities is increasing. In the most recent school year, approximately 73% of students were in poverty and 14% were homeless or living in temporary housing.
Our report finds the drop in enrollment is driven by declining births and families with children leaving NYC, with a particularly notable drop in public-school enrollment as students transition from elementary to middle school.
These trends have massive implications for our schools that we have only barely begin to grapple with. My hope is that this report will spur a long overdue conversation about what the era of falling student enrollment means for NYC, and what we can do to reverse or slow it. ๐งต

42, wife, kids and a millionaire with only 5yrs. Where did the money come from?
Nearly all of the jobs he was appointed to them. Never held a job longer than 2yrs.
Can he complete a 6yr Senate term? Lol!
Also, all through his career not only was he appointed but the process was speed up for him, like at Colombia.
He also had favorable connections in medical school. It was also alleged in a lawsuit filed against AIGH that qualified women were over looked to hire young men that were in a network and social circle. El-Sayed was one of those first major hires who didnโt complete a residency and didnโt go through competitive open process.
That lawsuit is still ongoing.
