Matt LeBlanc says the other finalist for Joey showed up to the Friends audition dressed as a cowboy
“It got down to, like, me and this other guy... at the final callback. They give you a little basic description of who the character is an Italian-American struggling actor in New York”
“So I go in for the final callback, and this other guy and I don't mean any disrespect to the guy but he's, like, dressed as a cowboy”
“I was like, ‘Well, one of us is way off base. I Didn't get the memo, or you didn't get the memo.’ And then, luckily, it went my way”

The moment in Billy Elliot (2000) when his father breaks down and decides to cross that picket line just so Billy gets a shot, that embrace out there in the middle of all that anger and pride… it hits deeper than anything the film does before it.

Joe Dante's Small Soldiers (1998) is criminally overlooked. It’s Toy Story’s unhinged sibling: the toys don’t play, they declare war. Brilliant Stan Winston effects, great cast, Tommy Lee Jones and Frank Langella voice work, biting satire and an edgy kids’ thriller. Magical stuff

THE STONE ROSES VS THE DAILY MAIL
A clip that never gets old.
No media training.
No polished PR lines.
Just pure Roses energy — dry humour,
Manc attitude, and zero interest in playing the industry game. Ian Brown answered like only Ian Brown can.
