🦋| 20 years ago today, 16-year-old Taylor Swift released her self-titled debut album and began a career that would go on to reshape music history. Since then, she has become the first artist to win the Grammy for Album of the Year four times, earned 15 #1 albums on the Billboard 200, been named IFPI’s Global Recording Artist of the Year a record six times and created the highest-grossing tour of all time with the Eras Tour. She became TIME’s Person of the Year, reclaimed ownership of her work, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and, fittingly, will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame just days after marking 20 years since her debut. From “Tim McGraw” to stadiums around the world, 20 years of songs, stories, reinvention and memories. Happy 20 years of Taylor Swift. 🤍
