On this day in 1998, 26 years ago, Pokémon Red & Blue were first released in the US.
These games were adaptations of Pokémon Red & Green based on the Pokémon Blue engine and brought the franchise to the west!

On this day in 1986, Simon Belmont stepped into Dracula's castle, and the hunt began!
Happy anniversary to #Castlevania! 38 years later, the legacy lives on...

Hey guys,
today the guys over on Ali have finally released their xStation clone. It's a pretty big blow for me, gotta say, but it was a good and long run.
Depending on the hack used, this might not even update correctly.
Consider your money, as I had already said once :p

I went to a GameStop and they had repro GBA carts for full price ($40-50) and when I said they were fake to the cashier he said "I know, they don't let us deny cartridges if they technically work"
So I don't buy retro carts from GameStop

I recently played the baffling voice activated PS2 survival horror game LIFELINE. I was so perplexed by this game that I had to make a video about my experience. I kinda lost my mind. Please enjoy and as always RTs are greatly appreciated!

Zelda / Resident Evil:
Imo, one the most interesting finds in our 64DD video was Miyamoto saying Ocarina of Time's Castle Town was made as "PR aimed at third parties," especially to attract a Resident Evil game to Nintendo consoles. Which explains why Castle Town uses fixed cameras and pre-rendered backgrounds.
Did you know that the long rumored Pokemon RPG for N64 never actually existed?
It's true, and we've got tons more N64 discoveries in our latest video: Every Cancelled Nintendo 64DD Game Part 2 ft @hard4games

wow. this is a massive loss
In shocking news, ROMhacking.net is ceasing operation as we know it. This website has been the nexus for fan-translation and romhacking for many years, and is a huge loss.

For years GameStop's Field Destroy policies forced employees to destroy physical guides, games, consoles and accessories that didn't sell within a timeframe.
Not donated.
Not sold at loss.
Destroyed huge swaths of gaming history.
They are the enemy of Physical gaming.
