Such a great study in economic contrasts…
One of the cleanest experiments in history already settled the economic debate on capitalism vs. socialism.
Same Germans, same starting line in 1949, the only variable was the system they lived under.
West Germany under Ludwig Erhard abolished the old price controls and introduced a new currency in 1948 and industrial production jumped 50% in 6 months.
East Germany went Soviet-style central planning with the state controlling prices, production, and property.
By 1989, East Germany’s GDP per capita sat at about $9,679 while West Germany’s was roughly 3x higher, and at reunification in 1990, East German output per capita was only 55% of the West’s.
The wall fell, but the gap never closed up to this day. All to say it’s been easier to recover from an atomic bomb than years of socialist rule.

The best negotiations are rarely about price. Change the terms, not the number, and you can create more value for everyone without turning the conversation into a battle over cost.

Wrong way roots! In the weightlessness of orbit, roots generally head towards moisture but sometimes they get confused and grow "upwards". Here are photos of my early purple potatoes, now potted in their hydroponic bag, turning into real Space Spuds.

Ahead of my upcoming talk with Dr. Salvatore Pais, he has requested I pass on the following message to you all:
My name is Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais. You may ask, so what? please read on and you will see.
I am best known for the United States Navy UFO Patents, the Pais Effect and the Superforce - all these concepts can be regarded as Advanced Physics, Highly Disruptive in nature.
My work for the US Government is regarded as highly controversial, to say the very least. This Pais Effect related body of work is best described in my magnus opus, cited by Top high level Chinese Research Teams - see the Plasma Compression Fusion Device ((PDFW) - IEEE, Transactions on Plasma Physics, 2019)):
ieeexplore.ieee.org/document…
However, the American Academia, has chosen to designate my Advanced Physics work as “Physics word salad”, “Quantum mumbo jumbo”, Pseudo-Science”, etc. I have Endured and continue to do so, the derision of my peers, who called me a “charlatan, a crackpot, and a crank”
Yet, recently published books such as Lou Elizondo’s “Imminent”, which very much describe the Advanced Physics that I amply describe in the Pais Effect related body of work, have become nation-wide, indeed world-wide New York Times bestsellers.
Moreover, the fact that the PDFW can be modified into a Plasma Disruption Fusion Weapon, one that when compared with the Teller-Ulam Device (even when using the ‘Ripple mechanism’) can make the latter seem as a ‘pop-gun’ when Energy Yields are taken into consideration, should give our Physics Academicians, ‘Cause for Pause’.
So, in summary, Advanced Physics, especially when highly disruptive and hence highly controversial in nature, is EXTREMELY hard to digest and be taken into consideration.
Truly it is a pity that the famous dictum made by Max Planck, one of the great founding fathers of Quantum Mechanics, remains true...
“Physics advances one funeral at a time” is once again proven correct.
