I've begged my elderly parents to move in with us. No downsize to a safer house. No. Move closer to us. No.
Now Dad's in the hospital, Mom needs a ride home and someone to stay overnight, and I have to work tomorrow and get my kids ready for school.
This was entirely preventable. I've offered every reasonable solution, and they've refused them all. Older generations, you cannot insist on doing everything your way and then expect your adult children to rearrange their lives to make it workβ¦

I do feel the govt needs to keep being as supportive to Ukraine as possible. They are like we were during WW2. We can't just leave them to it or shy away. Since the war started each PM that came in was right by their side. This needs to continue.

Stage one of the Islamist assault on the Green Party is now complete. Letβs see how long Polanski lasts before they come for the leadership. As has been warned a million times, these Islamic extremists were never going to stop until a policy of dismantling the Jewish state (the ultimate force against Islamism) became party policy. The Islamists will happily appease trans demands and whatever other woke inconvenience stood in their way to get this over the line. It also seems as though they take advantage of mentally ill and vulnerable non-Muslims looking for a sense of cause and belonging. This is a worrying development for anyone who cares about preserving British and Western culture. These people absolutely wonβt stop at the Greensβ¦
