My sincere thanks to all of our supporters who helped us along this amazing journey. I congratulate Tommy Tuberville on his election and sincerely hope he works to build an Alabama for everyone.

Alabama kicked ASS tonight!
Maintained a gerrymandered district
3 flipped State Senate seats
3 flipped State House seats
Governors race within 100k votes
We even ousted an incumbent Republican in a safe district for an openly transgender women in North Alabama
BELT TO ASS
The fact that states like Alabama and Louisiana and Mississippi are SO incredibly close to flipping is actually a big fucking deal and took a shit ton of work from so many dedicated people. We are fighting.
Like yβall donβt get it. EVERY dem was scared to run against Abbott after Gina tried recruiting them so she did it HERSELF. This is almost so unbelievable but she deserved it so much
Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all.
Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong.
The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.

Alabamians, your vote matters. In 2022, the governorβs race ended 67%-29%. Gap closed. Tonight showed how much can change. Look at Georgia. Look at Texas. Progress takes time but it happens when people show up. Your voice, vote & action matter. Keep showing up. Keep the fight.

In all of this, letβs not forget the Democrats who ran before. Especially Stacey Abrams in Georgia and Beto OβRourke in Texas. They laid the groundwork, and when they lost, they stayed and helped build the infrastructure for the next person. You have to invest in these states, even when you lose. And thank God for that investment.

Itβs almost 1100 on election night and the Alabama gubernatorial race has not been called by a single major news organization.
A state that usually calls a statewide race within 10 minutes, is 4 hours post polls closing without a call.
Blue flip or not thatβs momentum.
