Today we launched our $COOL meme token amidst enormous hype and anticipation. With many attempts of bad actors - over 300 fake $cool tokens launched this week - we opted for a stealth launch to prevent these actors aiming to exploit our project.
We didn't plan for a hype launch nor did we pay KOLs to promote our token. However several KOLs approached us, insisting on being given early contract address to support and pump our token. We always respectfully denied all those demands and were threatened that if we didn’t give them the CA they would fud and snipe our contract anyways.
Due to these threats we took extra precautions to make sure the CA was stable before announcing it first to our community on Discord and then on Twitter. Right now, we’re focused on building and fixing what may appear as any miss-moves from the team. Despite challenges, we remain steadfast in our commitment to building and telling the story of CMU with a long-term vision in mind. We will not let KOLs that feel entitled to projects allocations fud true organic team driven projects.
