When Big Media reports this bizarre and bogus exchange between @narendramodi and an AI-driven hologram of a dead man as “Modi interacted with Swami Chinamayananda” they betray a wilful gullibility that puts even the demonetisation-era Godi Media fantasy about microchip-embedded currency notes to shame.
#WATCH | Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Swami Chinmayananda through holographic technology at the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav. The moment recalled their historic meeting in 1993. "It makes me happy that the person I spoke to in 1993 has now become the Prime Minister of India. Whatever you have done for India so far, we are all proud of you," said Swami Chinmayananda. The interaction showcased confluence of faith, spirituality and modern technology. #PMModi #Holography

Going for a walk in India often feels like a video game. On the footpath you're dodging: - Holes - Hoardings - Construction - Electrical boxes And when you finally give up and hit the road you're brushing shoulders with autos, wrong-side drivers, buses and water tankers.

This is the Presidential debate equivalent of a slow half volley outside the off stump. At a Brazilian Presidential election debate, Flavio Bolsonaro asked his opponent Lula why 73% of prisoners were voting for Lula. Lula gleefully answered that it should be 100% including Flavio's father, who was in jail for plotting a coup against Lula, because even he knew Lula was a better man than his son!
Lula winning means this clip will be immortalised, as it rightfully deserves

Brazilian President Lula da Silva’s decisive election victory, securing an unprecedented fourth term, makes him one of the world’s longest-serving democratically elected leaders. More importantly, it represents a setback for Trump’s “Donroe Doctrine” (a blend of Donald Trump and the historic Monroe Doctrine), which seeks to reassert explicit U.S. hegemony over Latin America. The Trump administration, besides abducting Venezuela’s sitting president in a military operation, has actively backed neoconservative figures across Latin America, including Argentina’s Javier Milei, while targeting Lula’s Brazil. Lula’s victory is a win for the BRICS bloc, of which Brazil is a founding member. Under Lula, Brazil has strongly advocated a multipolar world order, greater use of local currencies in trade, and deeper ties with the Global South. Had Flávio Bolsonaro won, Brazil would likely have moved closer to U.S.-led security frameworks while scaling back its participation in, or potentially withdrawing from, BRICS. Lula’s victory thus preserves Brazil’s foreign-policy autonomy and leaves it as a major hemispheric bulwark against Trump’s coercive unilateralism.

Our journey of documenting and researching Mumbai’s architectural heritage has been enriched by people who shared their knowledge, collections and time with us. Over the years, Karl has generously provided archival material to Art Deco Mumbai Trust, from journals and photographs to pamphlets and cinema brochures. These materials offer valuable insights into the city’s past and enrich our ongoing research into its architectural and cultural heritage. Art Deco Mumbai: Writings on a Modern City, brings together a decade of research into the city and its built heritage. It was lovely to have Karl visit our office and present him with a copy of the book, with thanks for his generosity and the part he has played in our journey. rb.gy/9jcmyw @karlbhote @studiojoyride_ © Art Deco Mumbai Trust

Just look at this guy, and you will know how these incompetent babus have spawned hostility against India out of nowhere. Piyush Goyal has a bizarre knack for dropping unsolicited, provocative remarks out of his big mouth, dragging unnecessary backlash and anger upon India. When Trump launched his trade war against China, India could have easily just enjoyed the windfall in silence. But Mr. Goyal just couldn't help himself—he had to come out and give the most explicit expressions of schadenfreude. So, when Trump turned around and hammered India too, he looked every bit like a fool. Now, as Europe places greater emphasis on industrial revival, Goyal has again felt compelled to mock the Netherlands. It’s entirely indecent, incredibly foolish, and puts Indian businesses, capital, and diaspora at serious risk.
“The only steel plant left in the Netherlands today is a Tata Steel plant,” says a smiling Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal in the Netherlands

If Prasar Bharati can spend ₹15 crore a year on a DD News show featuring a star anchor, while the ISRO Chairman’s basic pay is about ₹27 lakh a year, shouldn’t we rethink our priorities? If India wants to conquer space and attract our finest scientific minds, our rewards must match our ambitions.

When Bolsonaro was disgracefully invited as Chief Guest for our Republic Day Parade in 2020, several of us in Mumbai held a protest at Churchgate Station against an abandonment of “Indian values” by a government that turned a blind eye to his environmental destruction, his homophobia, his deep links to organised crime. “Aarey, Amazon, queer ladhai, Modi-Bolsonaro bhai bhai” was the slogan coined at that protest. Today, as the son of one far-right bigot bites the dust in Brazil, much to the relief of so many who were terrorised under his father’s last regime, there is hope reignited for change across the world. Congratulations, Comeback King @LulaOficial. Here’s hoping we can invite you to a Republic Day Parade in New Delhi soon.

Read somewhere that the animating spirit of the Nazis was not the strutting self-confidence, which came later, but dread-- that unless Germans take extreme steps they would be destroyed. Sanghis are a lot like that, afraid of everything incl the existential threat posed by essays

This is quite a revelation! I somehow feel after Modi is voted out of power we could see one of the richest harvests of books written by retired judges, bureaucrats, police officials, military officers, election commissioners, top RBI officials, BJP's own dissenting leaders revealing all about 15 years of NDA under Modi. It will certainly be an avalanche of relevations since so much has been brushed under the carpet. Some of it already happening gradually. General Naravane book was one such.

They just tie themselves up in knots and end up justifying ChiComs' actions! Everything is about how to frame it to an Indian audience, and not what the Chinese should hear. Clueless Vishwabooboos
Look at this idiot BJP Minister justifying the Chinese intrusion in India's territory...😡 Kiren Rijiju : > "It's not like they came and captured our village" > "They've set up camp on some land because there's no demarcation" > "So there is confusion" And then, in the very same breath, he admits: > The Chinese PLA has built structures and "village-like buildings" there > Chinese army activity on the top ridges has "definitely increased" > The villagers' concern is "valid" Think about it for a second. > China builds a whole settlement, and the minister calls it "confusion" > The PLA is camped on land our own people call ours, and the minister calls it "no demarcation" > When an opposition leader raises it, he gets labelled "anti-national" Remember June 2020? "Na koi wahan hamari seema mein ghusa hai, na hi koi ghusa hua hai." Six years later the script hasn't changed at all. Deny, downplay, and if anyone asks questions, block them on X. 56 inch for the cameras. "Confusion" for China. CHINA BUILDS. MODI SARKAR EXPLAINS 🗿🔥
