JOINT DPS OP: 204 LBS COCAINE, 1,959 LBS MARIJUANA SEIZED IN RANKIN COUNTY
Pearl, Miss. — Mississippi DPS agencies seized roughly 204 pounds of cocaine and 1,959 pounds of marijuana during a joint operation on October 29, 2026.
Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, MDPS Interdiction Team, Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, and Madison Police Department stopped an 18-wheeler on I-20 in Rankin County. The stop turned up more than 2,100 pounds of narcotics total.
Driver Yohannes Haile and co-driver Befikadu Belayneh were arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of cocaine and trafficking of marijuana. Both were booked into the Rankin County Detention Center.
Officials credited interagency coordination for intercepting the load before it reached communities. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

A woman in Hagerstown puts decorations up each year. This year, this is what she caught on her security camera. She tells of a teenager earlier in the evening who just took an entire bowl of the candy she left out and put it into their own sack, but later in the evening, the dregs of the town decided this was a fun way to blow off steam.
I don't know Heather, I don't live in Hagerstown, but like so many videos we see of stolen candy and "kids" willingly just breaking other people's stuff for the joy, at what point do you just give up and not bother doing Halloween at all? I can see why people are no longer choosing to participate.
Of course under her original post, thankfully the community has supported her, but along with that, ...there were the usual comments claiming: Oh kids doing pranks.
No, sorry. That's not a prank. That is a deliberate willful act of property vandalism and destruction. This is a product of crap parents doing zero parenting and the rest of society having to pay the price.

BREAKING: There has just been MASS SH00TING stopped at the Atlanta airport!
"Aconvicted felon was allegedly planning to shoot up the Atlanta airport today, the world's busiest airports, armed with an AR-15."
"Our affiliate source says this felon did a FaceTime call with family members, allegedly telling them his plans to shoot up the Atlanta airport. Someone reportedly notified police after that call, who then found the suspect's car outside of the airport. It was blocking traffic, but the suspect was not inside. Police reportedly did end up finding the villain inside the airport. They grabbed him, took him into custody, and authorities reportedly found that AR-15 while searching his car."

💔 Sad update: Kandice Gunter has been found deceased according to her family. 💔
No details surrounding her death have been released and the family is asking for privacy.
MISSING IN WYOMING
Kandice Gunter (30) moved from Nevada to Casper, Wyoming, about a month ago to be closer to her two children, ages 9 and 6.
Now she’s missing, along with her pickup truck.
Kandice failed to pick up her children from the Boys & Girls Club, something her family says is completely out of character.
Her sister, Kayla, says they normally spoke three times a day. Their last conversation was Wednesday, October 28, at 10:41am.
Police say Kandice was last seen in person Thursday morning, October 29. Her cellphone was last located along Highway 387 near the Natrona County line around 12:30pm Friday.
Her gray 2016 GMC Canyon pickup, which has temporary Wyoming registration, is also missing.
What concerns me most is that Kandice had just moved to Wyoming to be near her children, and then suddenly failed to pick them up.
I also want to know who last saw her Thursday morning, since her sister hadn’t heard from her since Wednesday.
Kandice has black hair, blue eyes and a distinctive butterfly tattoo on her neck.
