Friends, I'm the same guy on many of the platforms that dare not speak their names. Figuring out which ones is at least half the fun.
No President in my lifetime accomplished so much in so little time, against such vicious and relentless opposition. One of the greatest. #ThankYouJoe
I canโt think about Joe Biden without tearing up a little.
This man ran for president 5 times and lost then enthusiastically backed Obama and played the establishment number two to the greatest leader of his generation.
He wanted to run for president in 2016 but couldnโt because his son Beau died and he was too wracked with grief.
So he comes back in 2020, saves the country from Donald Trump and despite being a career centrist, proceeds to have the most pro-union, pro-working class administration in 80 years, pulls the country out of Covid, pulls us from the economic disaster of Trump into the best economy in the world.
Heโs then betrayed by the media class and has to drop out because heโs too old for them. He steps down, for the good of the country, and immediately turns around and full-throatedly endorses the the first Black woman Presidential candidate finalist in U.S. history.
This man.
One to look out for, @Son_of_Sandor @f4u1dcorsair.

A beautiful, moving remembrance, which still resonates today.

Glad to see 'The Fugitive' (the TV show, not the film) get some love. This is one of my absolute favorite series, from any decade.
The Fugitive completed a dominant run to the Classic TV Road Shows Tournament Championship (#TVRoadShows). It defeated Route 66, a very worthy runner-up, by a wide margin. Frankly, when I think of TV road shows, these are the two that immediately come to mind!

All this, and a script by Paddy Chayefsky, too. ๐ฟ
Evening viewing recommendation? With its totally unrestrained, mind-bending use of special effects, Ken Russellโs visionary first foray into Hollywood filmmaking is one of the most exhilarating stylistic achievements of the '80s.

Brilliant article about connecting with history in very personal ways. The images are striking.
