"While third-party hopefuls appreciate his support, their goals are different. Ted Brown, the Libertarian candidate in Texas, said he’s running to win, not to cost Republicans Senate control.
“I’m running to defeat the corrupt two-party system,” Brown told Semafor. “But I would say this, if the Republicans lose the Senate on November 3: The good news is, the Republicans lost control of the Senate. The bad news is, the Democrats won control of the Senate.” semafor.com/article/10/14/20…

In 1965, Bishop Fulton Sheen warned about the dangers of toxic empathy, saying it would ruin the United States:
“False compassion… is a pity shown not to the mugged, but to the mugger; not to the family of the murdered, but to the murderer.”

I love getting reviews. I especially like this one cuz the family referenced my daughter, Abbey Gunne. As a business owner I’m proud. But As a dad, I’m like hell yeah. More more more! 🙏

Today is the deadline to charge Fauci, or he walks away from one of the biggest cover-ups in American history without ever facing a jury.
I have spent years building this case. I referred him to the DOJ. I forced the hearings. I grilled him under oath. The American people were lied to about the origins of COVID, gain-of-function research, and the Wuhan cover-up.
@ScottAtlas_IT was inside the White House when it all happened, and even he is demanding accountability. The DOJ has one last chance to act.
The statute of limitations to indict Dr. Fauci expires on May 11. Dr. @ScottAtlas_IT, who was part of the 2020 White House Coronavirus Task Force, is demanding accountability now. He joins @AskDrDrew at 5ET + legal scholar @jonathanturley LIVE

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen. ☩ ☧ ☩

Let’s all say a quick Hail Mary for Pope Francis this morning:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Pope Francis had a good night and continues to rest, according to the Holy See Press Office on Saturday morning.
His clinical condition has remained stable for the past few days as he receives treatment for bilateral pneumonia at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.

For those who'd like a professional touch, have @TexasChance immortalize their stories and character in a wonderfully produced video at yourheritagefilm.com/
Everyone should interview their fathers and grandfathers. Put it up on YouTube or make it private.
Their stories and wisdom will die with them if not preserved. I wish I had a chance to interview mine before he unexpectedly passed.
I enjoyed this interview with your dad @KonstantinKisin. What a man and what a life.

Today we mourn the loss of a true ambassador of our game, Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo. Dikembe spent 18 seasons in the NBA, including his final five as a Houston Rocket. His fun-loving personality and trademark finger-wagging endeared him to fans around the world, but Dikembe’s true impact was his passion for helping others. Our condolences go out to his loving family and friends.
Statement from @TilmanJFertitta: “On behalf of the Rockets organization, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Dikembe Mutombo, a true legend both on and off the court. Dikembe was beloved by the entire NBA community and his tireless humanitarian efforts left an indelible mark on our league. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Rose, and their children.”
