When’s the last time the first-place teams in the B1G(UCLA)and SEC(Kentucky) at Halloween have a 75/1 and 67/1 odds of winning the national title?
Crazier things have happened, but keep an eye on McGuire if Tech loses 1 or 2 more. Lincoln Riley played and coached at Texas Tech and played with Cody Campbell. Joey McGuire coached at Baylor before Tech. Riley to Tech, McGuire to Baylor. This is all IF Tech loses 1-2 more

Outside of Arkansas, if any SEC team doesn’t bring their A game, they can lose to anyone in conference. Wouldn’t surprise me to see both SEC title teams with 2 losses. Right now give me Bama vs UGA part 2

Oklahoma went 10-2 in the SEC with the #9 hardest schedule in the country, 94th ranked total offense and 113th in rushing. Oklahoma was basically 1 dimensional and STILL went to the playoff. They're going to be extremely dangerous to play this season. 📈😳⭕⚪

Excellent drive from Bryce Underwood and Michigan. So much different from much of last year.
Kyle Whittingham is such a great football coach! Going to be fun to watch the progression of this team.

The situation with Art Briles/UT went like this.
He wanted the job without having to be interviewed. Texas wanted him to tell them he was taking the job before they offered.
Neither side wanted to be left exposed. Neither side blinked. Baylor lost that bowl game and he stayed.

Scoop: On June 11, Ken Paxton threatened to sue the Big 12 if it sanctioned Texas Tech for fielding QB Brendan Sorsby.
The day before, Texas Tech Regents Chair Cody Campbell, a Sorsby defender, donated $274,300 in support of Paxton's #TXSEN bid: texastribune.org/2026/07/15/…
