My gf is a bartender (one of the best in the city, has her own following/fanclub, she should be studied), but my dad used to be one back in the late 80s and early 90s
I live for hearing her tell him about the nonsense in the bar world currently
He will just waive it off 🤣
A proud moment was telling a father of the groom off, whose wedding I was DJing. The nitwit bride was over an hour late to the CEREMONY. Whole day was thrown off, then she held it up AGAIN
They asked me to stay longer than my contracted time
Told ‘em
“NO.”
Take me to court

when I was in the mental hospital it was about 60 percent these guys. I feel like southern gay tweaker is maybe one of the most difficult loadouts you get when you’re plucked from the soul warehouse. Very nice people but they don’t have an easy go of it.
My downstairs neighbor is an old gay man who has lived in our building for over 20 years. He keeps up the front and back gardens. We only chat when I take out the trash through his back patio.
I would never in a million years have to explain this to him.
I love my neighborhood

Was literally explaining the, "society falls when old men don't plant trees they will never sit under" to my neighbor (boomer)
He said he didn't get it and why would he plant trees if won't be around to see them

american singer: *makes mid song*
europeans: omg this is soooo european you amerikkkans would never understand how profound our culture is
People are so uneducated on music, yet love to harp on it
This song is blatantly ripping off the New Wave band The Waitresses, who are from Akron, Ohio. The song is called “Christmas Wrapping” from 1982.
Might be hard for you to believe, but Brits don’t own New Wave

I hate to be a pick-me like “I’m one of the normal ones” but I really am grateful I wasn’t called to take the meth+blaccent+cheetah print tattoo path of being a white gay guy in the south
Not reading all of that.
Quickly checked and saw you’re from Indonesia though
Yeah, you’re really tapped into the going ons in American pop music
Pack it up.
Biebz has more talent in his pinky nail than you have in your whole body
Scooter is a clown & opportunist at best
Justin Bieber sold his songs for $200 million in 2023. 18 months later he owed $31.5 million to the company of Scooter Braun, the man who discovered him at 13, and TMZ reported the $200 million was already gone. He'd taken a $40 million advance for a tour he cancelled, and Scooter's company fronted $26 million to cover it.
His own business manager claimed Scooter had been overpaid $26 million in commissions. An outside audit by PwC said the opposite: Justin owed Scooter $8.8 million.
In the video below, Scooter Braun is asked where things stand with Justin Bieber now.
2022. Justin's Justice World Tour. Promoter AEG paid him $40 million up front. He pulled the plug early.
AEG wanted $26 million back. HYBE, the company Scooter ran, paid it. Justin agreed to pay HYBE back over 10 years.
He reportedly made 1 payment.
Weeks after the tour stopped, he sold his catalog of 291 songs to Hipgnosis for about $200 million.
Then the fight over who owed who. His business manager Lou Taylor said Scooter took $26 million too much. HYBE's internal audit said Justin owed Scooter $1 million. PwC spent 6 months on it and landed on $8.8 million.
In July 2025 they settled. Justin pays HYBE the full $26 million plus half of $11 million in back commissions. About $31.5 million.
TMZ's sources said there wasn't enough left from the $200 million after taxes, managers, lawyers and spending.
So the plan was to pay after his wife Hailey sold her beauty brand Rhode for $1 billion. Justin, an investor, was reported to get around $50 million.
Scooter doesn't see a cent of it. He'd already left HYBE.
15 years together. One audit to end it.
Did Scooter Braun take advantage of Justin Bieber, or did Justin spend $200 million and blame the man who made him?
Back in the day, at The Crown when I was an oversized child, this punky bartender would write roughly the same thing on my receipt
Looking back, I’m sorta glad I never saw that one through
Was talking about a show tonight with my friend at a bar and he was like “it wants to be good really bad” and I didn’t have anything prepared to respond to that because damn.
I wanna buy and learn lap steel guitar or pedal steel guitar really really bad. I guess a lap one would be smaller so that’s what I would get. I’m hyped. Watching someone play one is so cool live. I’ve thought about it a few times and can’t stop now

In retrospect... maybe coating the White House ballroom in gold leaf while Americans can't afford gas and groceries might have been a bad idea
