Hero move or way too risky over a bike?
Shop CCTV catches a 72-year-old woman grabbing hold of a guy with a stolen bike and refusing to let go. Daily Mail says she cut both hands, and the bike made it back to the 13-year-old kid it belonged to.
Let's be honest, nobody would tell their own grandma to do this. A bike can be replaced. Her hands can't, and you never know what a thief has in his pocket.
But look at him when she latches on. He walked in expecting an easy flip and ran into the one lady in town who was raised to finish what she starts.
That's a generation that didn't wait for somebody else to handle it. You stole from a kid, so now you deal with her.
If somebody walked off with one of my boys' bikes, I'd want to be the guy in that parking lot. Turns out a grandma in a black coat beat me to it.

He speaks to his grandson in Slovenian and stands beside him at the biggest moments of his life ❤️ Viktor Knavs was born in 1944 in Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia.
He worked as a car dealer and chauffeur, while his wife, Amalija, was a pattern maker at a textile factory, and together they raised two daughters, Ines and Melania, in a small town.
Years later, their younger daughter moved to New York, married Donald Trump and welcomed a son, Barron. Viktor and Amalija eventually settled in the United States and became citizens in 2018.
Barron grew up speaking fluent Slovenian with his grandparents, GQ reported, a gift from Melania, who wanted him to stay connected to her roots. That bond has shown up at the family’s biggest moments.
When Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy in May 2024, Viktor was the only family member there besides his parents, The Palm Beach Post reported.
A few months earlier, the family had faced one of its saddest days. Amalija passed away in January 2024 at 78.
Melania wrote a tribute that was both heartbreaking and loving. “She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law,” Melania wrote on X almost three years ago.
At the funeral, Barron stayed close to his grandfather throughout, according to reports. In January 2025, when Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term, Viktor stood next to his grandson, who towered over him, even though Viktor is just under six feet tall.
Now 82, Viktor is a regular at the family’s biggest events, from Thanksgiving at the table to Christmas Eve at Mar-a-Lago, and he’s usually the man standing next to Barron.
A language from a small town in Slovenia, passed from grandfather to grandson, now spoken in some of America's biggest rooms. Some family bonds don’t need translation. ❤️

On Sunday, October 18, at 4:20 a.m., a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were inside their vehicle in front of 1313 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, when they were approached by a group of three unidentified individuals armed with firearms.
One struck the man in the face with a firearm. The group then stole property belonging to both victims valued at approximately $169,000, and fled the location.
Both victims pursued the trio, at which point one of them discharged a firearm in their direction, missing both.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Dashcam footage from November 1, 2026, shows a Learjet 60 descending nearly vertically and fully intact until the moment it struck the ground near Military Trail in Palm Beach County, Florida, killing all nine people on board.
Air traffic control audio captures the crew reporting manageable light clear ice and moderate turbulence at about 35,000 feet with an outside air temperature of negative 47 degrees Celsius. Moments later the pilot stated they were picking up precipitation and requested a climb to 37,000 feet in an effort to rise above the storm cells. Immediately afterward the aircraft entered a rapid descent that accelerated past 10,000 and then 20,000 feet per minute while the pilot declared an overspeed condition. Frame-by-frame review of the closest dashcam video confirms the nose, windshield, and wings remained intact with no fire or explosion until impact created a crater and the fuel ignited. Most debris stayed concentrated near the site rather than scattering widely, which is consistent with a high-speed dive rather than a mid-air breakup. The sequence is reminiscent of other high-altitude upsets in which ice accumulation combined with precipitation can degrade lift faster than crews can recover.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash of N722BD, which was en route from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. Weather, icing, and loss of control remain the early focuses.

This is what the beginning of the surveillance state looks like in America
Americans in Connecticut received a bill for additional taxes on their car because cameras spotted it in a different city
A private company called Municipal Tax Service (MTS) is hired by cities to drive around and use automatic license plate readers on cars parked in different cities
It then makes connections if that car lives in that area and sends the owner a bill for new taxes on that vehicle for being in the city
The owner of this vehicle says she doesn’t live in that city, provided proof and says her car was only in a different city because her kid drives there for school
MTS didn’t care and said that the proof didn’t matter and they had to pay it. They appealed to the city, the city said they had to deal with MTS
But here’s the problem, MTS gets paid 38% commission on tax revenue they recover + $50 per vehicle billed to the owner. They made $9 million in commission in just one year from sending people additional tax bills
So this company has no incentive to ever help you and just deny you, which they did
Only after the mainstream media got involved would the city drop this one new tax bill which was false to begin with
In America we now literally have private companies driving around scamming our license plates to tax us more money

Big mistake. The guy 6 ft away from him grew up in Venezuela. And he’s heard this communist fairy tale before.

MORE DEMOCRAT FRAUD: A Minnesota woman was convicted of stealing $3.6 million from a Medicaid housing program for the homeless that exploded under Governor Tim Walz's watch.

Sharmaine Meadows of Lake Elmo ran Cradle of Love and billed Minnesota for in-person services that never happened, using workers in Illinois and the Philippines paid just $6 an hour with no benefits.
She told staff they were required to maximize billings to the 150-hour caps even when the hours were never provided.

Records showed claims for employees working more than 20 hours a day for weeks while clients got nothing. Beneficiaries testified they received little to no help yet were told they had run out of hours.

The program started at about $2.6 million a year but soared past $100 million before the state shut it down under Walz. “The defendant chose to defraud millions from a program meant to help vulnerable Minnesotans,” United States Attorney Daniel Rosen said.
