I think we will have to respectfully disagree with each other. IMO, their hard RW narrative is partly responsible for the current division and hatred in UK. I won’t watch it as don’t want their international bosses making money from adverting-@lisanandy should close it down

I enjoy shows and like some contributors like early morning. They have contributors from both sides of the argument shows. I often lean to people like Stephen Pounds arguments a centralist. If Labour don’t go on they will never win these voters back who are mainly over 50.
#Farage has his own show on there. You strike me as having a bit of intelligence after reading your profile and get that you watch it to get a mix of views, but unfortunately some people take as gospel like they do with the Mail etc, and that’s when it gets concerning

The highest ratings on many times of the day for news. I watch it as I watch bbc, Sky , aljazeera , euro news. Often very negative of farage. Expand your knowledge of all channels better than reading the The National or morning star
It’s because you are Micky Mouse network and only the deranged and stupid watch you, why would any decent politician give you an interview

2020: Matt Hancock, "Right from the start we've tried to throw a protective ring around our care homes"
2026: Baroness Hallett, "The claim that a so called protective ring has be thrown around care homes right from the start was unfounded. Quite the opposite is true. The adult social care sector as a whole, appeared to be something of an after thought"
My view:
Matt Hancock said the government had tried to throw a “protective ring” around care homes. He repeated the claim in Parliament. Nadhim Zahawi later publicly backed it, while Boris Johnson defended the government’s handling when challenged. Now Baroness Hallett’s inquiry has rejected the claim as unfounded: care homes were not protected from the start; adult social care was treated as an afterthought.
This was more than a failure of words. Patients were discharged from hospitals into care homes without routine testing, and care homes were not advised to isolate those arrivals. Staff faced shortages of PPE and testing, while residents and families bore the consequences. The inquiry describes a system that failed to plan for the risks and failed to put care homes at the centre of its response.
What we saw was a collective failure—a collaboration of incompetence at the expense of life. The phrase “protective ring” offered reassurance while the protections people needed were missing. Thousands of families were left grieving, and care workers were left trying to cope with the consequences. Those responsible should face the findings honestly, explain how this happened and make sure the lessons lead to change.
But the question remains, why is there almost no accountability for the actions government ministers took during covid?
So true -prosecute the lot of them
Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, Helen Whately, Dominic Cummings, Lord Bethell, Michelle Mone, Michael Gove and several others should all be in prison.

It’s amazing what the RW media can do-we are not unique in finding times hard, most other countries are feeling the same. The RW media continually saying Britain is broken, nothing works, helps play into a negative feeling
Just watching @itvnews #exposure -this is something #BBCnews @BBCNews should have done @Nigel_Farage #Nigelfarage @reformparty_uk #ReformUK #ReformUK great programme

Because you're not just paying for the BBC, you're paying for the upkeep of critical infrastructure. Amazon, Netflix, YouTube & Billy Bollock's Streaming Services do no & cannot do what the BBC has done since birth. £180 a year is disgraceful for what they do, it's too low.
How about #SupportBritain and it’s TV instead of the #US and #Trump-just a thought-stop paying for US streaming services #SupportBBC
I pay Netflix to watch Netflix. I pay Amazon to watch Amazon. So why the hell should the BBC get involved?
There are plans being reported that could extend the £180 TV licence to streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon and Disney+.
A petition telling the Government not to do it is already gaining thousands of signatures.
If people are choosing not to watch the BBC, chasing them onto Netflix and YouTube isn't the answer.

You support TRUMP? Enough said, you are obviously an idiot
Replying to @StevenTommo
I don't pay for YouTube? Also I support Trump for the most part. You seem to be opposed to a company paying taxes in the US?
DO extend the license fee to cover streaming services -stop giving money to #US
