Rumors that Trey Kaufman-Renn is still in play to join this year's team for KU. While the former Purdue star has not officially decided yet, it sounds like KU is on the verge of this one.
The former 1st Team All-Big Ten forward has a temporary court order making him eligible, like Melvin Council and Tre White.
This would be a stunner with KU's roster full at 15. However, KU freshman Grant Mordini has a knee injury, and if he's out for the season, he wouldn't count toward the roster limit. That's the spot to watch right now.
This would raise KU's ceiling considerably.
