Do I need to run a OSS license scanner on some these repos to show you all exactly how much “hand coding” is being done in them lol.
I wonder how people’s perception will change when they see that 85 percent of the work is OSS libraries(that other people made) and stack overflow snippets…
Working on onboarding for Jinn and Im looking for examples of great onboarding experience for Users connecting their agents to a services MCP or API?
Anyone seen any cool Oauth 2.1 implementations in the wild?
Lol I don’t know who In the Smash community needs to hear this.
But you can’t “Steal” open source code. If someone forks a repo that somone open sourced as long as they follow the license it’s not stealing.
There no social rules that stop you from using open source or dictate timing to create projects
And if you don’t want your code used by others before you release your project, then make the repo private!!!!!!!!
I actually kind of feel bad for Asha, clearly Microsoft has set her up as the scape goat for their winddown of the Xbox business as a whole. I think Microsoft is planning to invest less in gaming over time as it tries to recover its overall business from a 60% market share after enjoying 90% and being globally dominant for so long.
BREAKING: Microsoft's, $MSFT, Xbox reportedly expects its next-generation console to cost as much as $1,800 and is currently targeting a 2028 release, per IGN.
A new handheld is also rumored to launch next year.
😢 Some of my favorite people and longest standing relationships in the industry were founders, players and members of EG. Working with them in the early days was a an incredible experience.
Sad to do the legacy end this way.
GG’s Indiana 😬
@StrawHatKid_SSB with an insane run last night at @FortLANgg
One complaint I see from a lot of people using ai is the pure exhaustion they feel from the constant context switching or the speed at which they need to absorb the deluge of Dailey new information

Hey @Nadeshot my job as a father is also to make a much money as possible for my family, and I’ve had many oppurtunies to put myself and the needs of my family above others but I’ve never felt the need to at the expense of others. For me I try as hard as possible to be mindful that my actions cause no harm to others.
We all make choices for how we want to be impactful with our lives. And we all have to live with those choices and how people choose to remember us.
A lot of people in the thread lack context around how highly regulated gambling promotion and gaming is in the US. Both in access and advertising rules.
So here’s what actually happening when a streamer takes one of these sponsorships:
In order to access these products (ie rainbet, stake,Roobet) fully legally they have to leave to leave the country because these online casinos are unlicensed in the US and legally required to block access (they can’t use vpns because US is based on physical location), then in order market to their audiences ( in this case a primairly US based, age 20-24 males) they do so on an offshore platform (kick) that isn’t subject to ftc fcc guidelines. In summary using “legal grey area” to promote to an audience that would otherwise be inaccessible and inadvertently encouraging them to violate us law (us citizens would have to use vpns) to access the restricted platforms.
The doj is actually arguing against this type of promotion in court.
OBS has pissed off the tech right this last week with their anti-ai policy for not posting a pr submitted to them to fix crashes because it was created with ai (summary not all details) .
OBS reps are taking a strong stance against ai publicly and one has to wonder how they square this stance considering the majority of their tops sponsors are deeply invested in the ai industry (cough cough nvidia) and how long till one of these sponsors potentially pulls back because of this stance?
So far what’s come out is there is rust fork of OBS now.
I would hazard to guess that the majority of these people they “can’t find” are older with experience and not regionally confined, everyone fishing in the same pond ( SF only not remote) and are being bypassed because they are not 20 something “growth hackers”.
ive talked to many teams in the past few months who are thinking about this but dont know quite what to call it/have called it everything from brand marketing to comms to storytelling to special projects to content/social
4 high-profile startups in past ~2 weeks have explicitly told me they are stealthily looking to hire for someone in this sort of role
these roles are quietly and quickly exploding if your ear is to the ground!!
“AI has no place in the world of
Gaming” 😬
Hey all,
I removed the post about Rollback Brawl and Rollback P+.
There were things regarding its development that were heavily misconstrued to me, especially regarding @BrawlbackTeam.
I have spoken to Crunch about this, and I will be distancing myself from the project.
I love Crunch and would take a bullet for him - but I want to do what is best for the community - and Rollback solution with vibe coding does not feel correct in my heart, especially one that does not have the blessing of the people who were working hardest on an actual solution for it - the @BrawlbackTeam.
I’ve read a lot of concerns and replies about the work being built upon other work and I want to get to the bottom of what happened. They are valid.
AI has no place in the world of gaming. I want to make a point to support that moving forward.
I am not a software developer. I did not do my due diligence in fully understanding what was at play here, and the future ramifications it can present. I remember checking if the project was open source because I was curious for a timeline when it would be developed.
I simply wanted to do a favor for my friend for all the things he’s done for me.
I will be reaching out to the @BrawlbackTeam to understand what exactly had happened, and what can be done to rectify things. All I was told from Crunch is that he had their blessing and they asked to be credited in the post.
I apologize to those who were wronged, and to the people who look up to me to be an influence in the community.
