A Muslim told me, “You will never find a Muslim disrespecting Jesus. Jesus is a prophet in Islam, and we respect him. So why don’t you Christians respect Muhammad?”
I said, first of all, calling Jesus Christ of Nazareth a prophet of Islam is already a disrespect. Jesus had nothing to do with Islam. And we don’t recognise Muhammad as our prophet, so why should we respect him?
He then said, “Jesus is coming back as a Muslim. He will deny you cross-lickers and kill all of you for worshipping him.”
I said, hold on! Jesus instructed us to follow Him, pray in His name, honour Him and believe in Him. He told us that whoever believes in Him has eternal life. So why would He return to punish us for doing exactly what He instructed us to do?
Then he switched to the usual argument: “The Bible wasn’t written by Jesus. He never said all those things. The Bible is corrupted.”
I said, well, that’s your business. I’m not going to throw away the historical testimonies of Jesus’ own followers and disciples just to embrace a seventh-century account from a man who never met Jesus.
He replied, “But Muhammad received revelation.”
I asked, were you there when he received it? 😂
You see, I would rather trust the testimonies of those who actually walked with Jesus, witnessed His ministry and recorded His life than abandon their accounts for a much later religious narrative from someone who never met Him.
Let me make something clear:
Jesus is Lord. He is not the Isa your Quran introduced.
Isa didn’t die for your sins. I agree.
Isa didn’t resurrect. I agree.
Isa is a prophet in Islam. I accept that this is what your Quran teaches.
But that is precisely the difference!
You can keep your Isa. I’ll stick with my Jesus.
My Jesus is more than a prophet. He is the Son of God, the Word who became flesh, the crucified and risen Lord, and the King who is coming again.
Stick to your Isa and leave my Jesus for me. JESUS IS LORD!

Bill Maher reveals San Francisco wanted to build ONE public toilet. The price tag hit $1,700,000.
Not a toilet system. One regular toilet.
Then a private company offered to build it for free.
And guess what? The "free" toilet was still going to cost almost $1,000,000.
MAHER: "After quote project management, construction management, architecture and engineering fees, permits, civic design review, surveys, contract preparation and cost estimation. The free toilet was still going to cost almost a million dollars. You know, if you tack on fees like that, you're not a city, you're AN AIRLINE."
And taxpayers pay for all of it. Maher has lamented that "way over half" of every dollar he earns goes to taxes.
MAHER: "I pay so much in taxes and it DOESN’T SEEM TO GET TO THE PEOPLE. Like I don't even mind doing it. Over half always. Way over half. And yet I never read about the homeless getting better."
You pay the highest state income tax in America.
You pay sales tax, gas tax, property tax.

God does indeed judge nations, and he alone knows when the gig is up. In this regard, R. C. Sproul is well worth quoting:
"We hear all the time about God’s infinite grace and mercy. I cringe when I hear it.
