Sundowner in Letna Park at the end of another great day with my @WeAreTripsmiths tour group in Prague. We've been covering the history of Czechoslovakia from 1939 to 1989, and it's proved to be emotional at times. It's a tour I'd very much like to do again, so watch this space.
2/2 The Nazi retribution following his death lead to amongst others, the razing of the village of Lidice and the extermination of around 340 men, women and children from the village. The site now stands as a permanent memorial to those lives lost. A must if you ever visit Prague.
1/2 On a @WeAreTripsmiths tour of Prague tour with @guywalters and learning about the Reinhard Heydrich, aka “The Butcher of Prague” assassination attempt. An amazing but ultimately tragic tale of bravery, brutality, tragedy and deep sadness.
I’ve seen this commented elsewhere on X these past days but this article from last Saturdays @Telegraph provides a very good counter argument to recent US criticism about Britain’s approach to WW2. All a bit rich from the USA with 80 years worth of hindsight…

Hey @AffinityWater, what have you done to the hot water pressure in the SG14 area. Mine along with many of my neighbours have seen significant loss of pressure these past 3 days. Please advise…

Another damp afternoon but the penultimate day. I’ll be glad when it’s over…

Without doubt, longest and most testing day yet but the reward and the view at the end, simply breathtaking…

A damp and cold afternoon after a fine morning. Saw some impressive flying in the Mach Loop too. – at Llanbrynmair, Wales
So, this afternoon, I finally finished this after a very wet afternoon's walk in Wales. What a thoroughly interesting read it was about an amazing and incredibly courageous story I knew nothing about. Well done @guywalters
