Last night some of my Great Yarmouth First colleagues & I attended the circus that is the latest Great Yarmouth Borough Council Full Council meeting.
As usual constant digs aimed at our Member of Parliament, @RupertLowe10 and even some to our GYF Councillors.
If they spent less time doing that and more time actually putting Great Yarmouth first, then our Borough would NOT be in the mess that it’s in.
Some councillors have been there for 30 odd years and still fail to get paperwork references or the name of the contractors they work with correct.
It’s chaos.

It’s very telling how Rupert Lowe has the grace to protect and defend those Reform members and councillors, while their own Reform party is 100% happy to throw them under the bus.
They should perhaps join a party where their honest views belongs to them alone, and if people are offended, well that’s just too bad.

It's absolutely scandalous how those journalists behaved, to be entirely honest.
Secretly recording members/councillors who made comments that clearly weren't meant for wider audiences.
Evidently I have my disagreements with Reform, but the way those journalists lied to gain trust and then publish private remarks is vile.

Excellent news to start the day - a big MRP poll from Electoral Calculus/Find Out Now with over 10,000 respondents has Restore Britain matching the Greens on a record 8%.
That number hits 10% for us under a PR scenario.

It is simply extraordinary that taxpayer-funded civil servants are being sent to work for months for ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC.
