An FEC complaint has been filed against US Senator Mark Kelly for Smurfing. Totaling a stunning $41,300,637.00 Smurfing is criminal money laundering into political campaigns, using "Smurfs" = straw men. Political Committee C00706861, MARK KELLY VICTORY FUND has accepted 961. Smurfed donor transactions totaling $2,054,634 from 581 unique Smurfing donors. That these transactions encompass 27.2% of the 3,536 available committee transactions and also being 24.6% of the $8,355,160 full committee transaction valuation Political Committee C00696526, MARK KELLY FOR SENATE has accepted 790,641. Smurfed donor transactions totaling $39,246,003 from 46,697 unique Smurfing donors. That these transactions encompass 68.3% of the 1,157,117 available committee transactions and also being 36.6% of the $107,149,771 full committee transaction valuation. Statutory Violations: 52 U.S.C. §§ 30122, 30116(f), 30102, 30104, and 30121. Not sure if there is a more wayward, anti-American than this guy. He is NOT a US Senator as he cheated big time in his election(s). W.H.G

Actually, what the hell, one more "park bomb." Every fall, ACL Fest takes over Zilker, Austin's most beloved public park. Most people assume the city runs it, or at least gets paid well for it. It doesn't. On paper, ACL is owned by the Austin Parks Foundation, a private charity. That one detail changes who gets the money. In 2024, the Foundation took in $8.4 million from ACL. The city, which owns the park, got about $100,000. That's taxpayers' land, earning roughly 1% of what it brings in. Chicago makes the same company pay its parks $10 million a year for Lollapalooza. Then in August 2025, one city staffer quietly signed a new deal locking ACL into Zilker for 15 more years, through 2040. No council vote. No announcement. Even the Parks Board wasn't told. A local writer had to dig it up. The staffer was Parks Director Jesús Aguirre, who had just run Waterloo Greenway, whose biggest contractor is Live Nation, the company behind ACL. And because the Foundation is private, you can't see its books or sit in on its meetings. Your most valuable public park is producing millions in profit, and almost none of it reaches the public budget. Instead it flows to a private group that answers to no voter (or open records requests), under a deal no elected official approved. Meanwhile you're being asked to fund parks yourself with a $260 million bond. They're not short on money. They just don't spend it on you. *** Sources: Austin Free Press, ACL-Palooza: austinfreepress.org/acl-palo… Austin Free Press, Zilker Zinger: austinfreepress.org/zilker-z… 2025 ACL contract: s3.documentcloud.org/documen… h/t Diana Prechter, Today in Zilker Park: todayinzilkerpark.com #JeffWasRight #VoteForJeff #BeLikeJeff #GoJeff #JBOW
Candidate Jeff Bowen writes the City has been routing ~$8.5M a year in ACL money to a private foundation while only booking ~$103k for the city itself. Parks look broke. So they’re asking voters for a $260M bond. The real money never hits the city’s books. Taxpayers still get the bill - ridiculous. district8dispatch.substack.c…

One of the most impressive relics from ancient Athens is this massive polygonal wall located on Pnyx Hill. Some of the stones weigh as much as 40TONS Interestingly, we don’t know who built it – but even more curiously, it was left unfinished. Why would they abandon its magnificent construction? And why does it appear so heavily weathered? 🤔 Archaeologists assume its construction was ordered by Greek lawgiver, Lycurgus, approx 2,300 years ago. Pottery found behind the retaining wall dates to his time. Additionally, modern archaeologists claim they likely abandoned completing the wall to “focus on other projects”. But I’m not sure I buy that… Most people have never seen or heard of this amazing site, I’d say it’s certainly worthy of more attention. For perspective, that’s me in the photos, and I’m 5’10”

In 2018, Elon Musk tweeted that he would fund the replacement of lead contaminated water pipes in Flint, Michigan for any home that still had unsafe water. He said to just tell him which houses needed help and he would fix them. The response from Flint's officials was near silence. The offer was genuine. Elon followed up. He donated $480,000 to install UV filtration systems in Flint schools. He offered to continue funding until every household had clean water. Local officials thanked him publicly and then largely stopped responding. The project stalled not because of money but because of bureaucracy, local politics, and the same institutional inertia that had allowed the crisis to happen in the first place. The detail that makes this story devastating is not the donation. It is the disconnect between the speed at which Elon operates and the speed at which a municipal government can accept help. He offered. He funded. He followed up. The system he was trying to help could not process the help at the speed it was offered. The man who can build a factory in 6 months could not get a city to accept pipe replacements because the approval process, the contractor bids, the environmental reviews, and the political negotiations moved at a pace that made SpaceX look like light speed by comparison. He has described the Flint experience as one of the most frustrating of his career. Not because the problem was hard. Because the problem was easy and the system designed to solve easy problems was broken. The water needed clean pipes. The pipes needed money. The money was offered. And the space between offered and installed was filled with a bureaucracy that moved at the speed of government while children drank contaminated water. The man who solves engineering problems for a living encountered a problem that was not engineering. It was institutional. The pipes were simple. The politics were not. The money was present. The will was present. The system that was supposed to connect money and will to pipes could not function at the speed the crisis demanded. He fixed the schools. The broader offer faded. The city eventually replaced most of its pipes through federal and state funding years later. The man who offered to fix it in months watched it take years. The frustration of the man who moves fast encountering a world that doesn't is the frustration that defines his relationship with every institution he touches. The rockets are faster because they don't require a city council vote.

You asked 👇 HOW DID TUSK GET BACK IN? Poland has a President as well as a Prime Minister. The President is head of state, the Prime Minister runs the government day to day. Tusk was President of the European Council in Brussels - one of the top jobs in the EU. Big salary, big prestige. He came back to Poland in 2021 to take over his old party, Civic Platform. In October 2023 there was the general election. PiS - Law and Justice - actually got the most votes as a single party, but not a majority. Tusk put together a coalition of three - his Civic Coalition, plus Third Way, plus the Left. Between them they had just enough seats to take power. So President Duda had to give Tusk the chance to form a government, and he became Prime Minister again in December 2023. How did he win? He didn't win the conservative, working class, rural Poland. He won the big cities - Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw - and he aimed his campaign at white liberal middle class women and young graduates who want to be seen as European, not Polish. Poland has secure borders. They have no mass no experience of the difficulties that are ahead . No immigration from Somalia, Afghanistan, places like that. Most people there have never lived with what we have lived with in England. So it's easy to vote liberal when you don't have to live with the consequences. Why would he leave a cushy EU job in Brussels to go back? Because Brussels needed him back in Warsaw. PiS were blocking EU federalism. They wanted to keep the Zloty, keep their gold, keep their borders, keep their own courts. They were a problem for Germany and Brussels. Tusk is their man in Warsaw. Put him back in to take over the courts, take over the Tribunal, open the borders, and get Poland into the Euro. That's why he came back. Not for Poland - for Brussels. @D_Tarczynski have I got this about right ?

You are not living in a time of peace. You are already at war, whether you recognize it or not. Time is running out, and there is nowhere left to retreat.
The enemy of our age is literally global Bolshevism. And Bolsheviks are demons in human form. The modern enemies of civilization may not refer to themselves as Bolsheviks, but their end state is the same: gain and retain power by any means necessary and crush dissent. You’re seeing it happen everywhere. >Uprisings in Europe >A coup in Poland >Brazil jailing political opponents >Political persecution against INDIVIDUALS That’s how you know what they do is evil. They don’t talk about making life better, no. They talk about persecuting and punishing people. It starts with “oversight” or legal trouble. It ends with them literally tearing the flesh from your bones. Or exhuming dead nuns and putting them on display in town squares. Open a history book and see where this path of envy leads. See for yourselves what they do. It must be understood that they are the most intolerant “humans” on earth. And the side that is the most intolerant always wins. Only when you stand up and become MORE intolerable, do you sufficiently crush them. This isn’t about partisan politics anymore. Whoever still thinks that way is a half wit. This is literally a life or death struggle for the fate of humanity.

Apollo astronaut Frank Borman was an incredible man, can you imagine the controversy if an astronaut said this today? Nixon tasked him to go to college campuses after Apollo 8 to give talks and was only met with hatred then detailing how he had to be flown in by helicopters because they barricaded the doors. They also threw objects at him and dressed in gorilla suits to run him off stage so they could mock the first scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey This is what I mean when I tell people that spaceflight interest to the average person has never mattered, these people are utterly deranged and hinder progress when listened to

A brief explanation for those with no knowledge of Polish politics: A year ago, the Polish people elected a conservative president, Karol Nawrocki. Poland currently has a left-liberal government, which, however, does not yet control the courts. Tusk government is attempting to take illegal control of the courts in order to undermine the election of President Nawrocki. Only in this way can Tusk secure absolute power for himself. Tusk knows he will lose the 2027 elections, so he is attempting to undermine the state’s constitutional order and to remove a president beloved by the Polish people. This is literally a war of cynicism and evil against sincerity, the voice of the people, and goodness. Pray for Poland and president Nawrocki.
