Midwits will pick blue because “if everyone just picks blue then everyone will survive, so there is no reason for anyone to pick red.” Smart people will pick red in order to make sure the dumb people who picked red will survive, and there are dumb people in your life who you love and want to live. And the world also needs dumb people to function. If your rationale for any decision or plan start with “if everyone just…,” then your plan is dead on arrival. Never in earth’s history has everyone just’ed. You need a new plan.
