8.35am Hi Director or Producer of @abcnews How come we can’t hear all of what our PM has to say, you cut the presser short but when Angus Taylor or Barnaby Joyce are speaking we get the whole word fest? Just once I would love an answer to my genuine question

All of Gaza is watching the results of the Israeli elections, and everyone is praying for the fall of Netanyahu’s government, which has killed, destroyed, and starved our people. We are not asking for much. We just want one single day without killing, without bombing, without starvation, and without fear for our children and families. Please, pray for the fall of this criminal government, for the bloodshed to stop, and for Gaza to finally see a day when we can live in peace and safety. 🤲🇵🇸

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

If it was me, I would have just stayed quiet rather than blowing smoke up my own ass for being involved in coverage that hounded a man to death. By the way, media organisations enter themselves into these awards. Crass doesn't even begin to cover it.
Very happy to have been shortlisted in the Specialist Journalism category in this year's British Journalism Awards for my investigation into Cambridge University professor Jason Arday and the extensive plagiarism in his PhD thesis #BJA2026

Watching @abc730 tonight proves what a totally unfit political party One Nation is. Mark Nicholson, the Fake Lawyer, is just a disgrace that reflects on the whole party, including Hanson who supports him.

One Nation’s Mark Nicholson is truly a nasty piece of shit. Trying desperately to defend his offensive bigoted “cartoons”. Absolute tosser. #abc730 #auspol @OneNationAus @news24 @newscomauHQ

You see how this framing erases Israel’s occupation and justifies its actions? Calling collective punishment a “crackdown” sanitizes it. They’re not maintaining law and order, they’re enforcing a military occupation.

.@AlboMP @AnikaWells do you think it’s acceptable for a news org to be this fixated with one person’s family for so long? Do you think that’s …. Normal? 8000+ or so articles in 5 years. 300+ opinion columns by Janet A since 2021.
News24 made me ‘Wally of the Week’ for campaigning for media regulation, arguing the Guardian refused to join the Press Council. Exactly my point. Publishers can just opt out of being regulated. Call me shonky all you like @carolinemarcus for demanding a better press in Aust.

There you go, insidiously smearing 300,000 Australian people for your nasty little zionist narrative. March for Humanity means exactly what it says. Families, children, the elderly. Walked in the pouring rain. Coulda stayed home but they chosen to stand for decency & justice.
