This is spot on and exactly what Burnham will do.
Replying to @sandieshoes
They very issue Jim Allister has raised is the one Burnham will use as his excuse to go further at a later date. He'll say "We are so closely aligned on so many issues that it makes sense to rejoin in full so that we cease to be a rule taker and can shape decisions."

Labour have given away the farm with their awful agrifood deal with the EU. No say in the laws, a rubber stamp parliament, and a massive bill. If anything is 'hard Brexit', it's that. My @Telegraph column tonight. telegraph.co.uk/gift/65ac678…

January energy price cap increase estimate now approaching 30%. Thank the fucking Lord for @andyburnham @JohnHealey_MP and @UKLabour giving us that bit of "breathing space" eh? #LabourLiars
The latest predictions for the January Price Cap - AWFUL, up 28.8%! This is our internal MSE document where we average three forecasts and how its changed over the past few weeks as wholesale rates have continued to rocket. PS Jan prediction is getting much more locked in as we're 85% through the 19 August to 17 November 2026 assessment period. April & July predictions are much more crystal ballgazing.

“In every single part of the Reset, the UK would be giving up its sovereignty and agreeing to blindly follow EU regulations. The UK would become a rule-taker with an obligation to adopt EU laws immediately and exactly. Even when the rules do not suit the UK economy…”

That’s convenient for the EU. Negotiations on the entry of Montenegro and Albania are due to conclude next year. Both countries will require significant funding and now, thanks to Burnham, the UK is on the hook to provide it.

The European Union now exists purely to perpetuate the existence, authority & expansion of the European Union. Everything it does, every decision it makes is to that end. It is not a force for good and those that would, through lies and deceit, see us back in its orbit are not good people.

Yesterday @EmilyThornberry revealed a Pakistani man who came to Islington to work as carer is "relieved" his family will all be allowed to stay forever. The family has now been joined by "a little boy with a rare genetic condition." She asked @ShabanaMahmood if the lad can have UK taxpayer funded benefits. Of course we all want the best for him but this begs so many questions. Is he their son? Did they just abandon him till now? How many other low paid carers are bringing relatives who are partly or wholly dependent on the state? It's completely unaffordable!

A whole new level of insane. DB schemes closed because they were unsustainable. They couldn’t grow enough to pay out consistently against inflation for growing populations that lived longer than ever on average. This is still the case in the public sector. John goes to work to pay for Jane’s pension liabilities. Unless the government has found the magic money tree, there is no world where this is going to be sustainable. Like many government interventions, it’s going to push the costs up and make an already complex space even harder to navigate for the layman. They’ll sell it as a victory to the NPC’s who still think the markets are like gambling though.
NEW: We are going to resurrect genuine pensions for millions of private sector workers

UK Taxpayer money will be funnelled into projects to build roads, airports and green energy facilities across the bloc’s poorer member states under the plan. #euDisaster
Britain has agreed to pay into European Union development schemes as the price for rejoining the bloc’s electricity market, according to a draft text seen by The Telegraph. Taxpayer money will be funnelled into projects to build roads, airports and green energy facilities across the bloc’s poorer member states under the plan. In exchange, British energy companies will be allowed to trade freely in the EU’s single market for electricity. 🔗 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/11…

Miliband is preparing the ground for a formal apology here. And making clear money — if not reparations — will follow. The comments are worth a read!!

We will review every citizenship granted due to Open Borders Burnham's horrific U-turn today. If a migrant doesn't unambiguously benefit Britain, their citizenship will be revoked. The Boriswave must be reversed.

86% of those surveyed by the Home Office confirmed that they would "probably" or "definitely" apply for British citizenship if granted Indefinite Leave in Remain. We are going to see a surge of citizenship grants under Labour. This damage will need to be undone.

🧐NEW: In a surprise move, the Home Office is tonight having to have to re-issue its migration reform document because of how critical numbers are presented. In the "Government Response to the Consultation" Annex A suggests that the forecast for number of people who will settle under the new plan is now 1.9 million (compared to 1.6 million in the equivalent doc a year ago). This is the only place in the document where the 1.9 million figure appears. But I've been told this 1.9 million is a new +forecast+, but pre-changes. The Home Office says the fresh forecast combined with the impact of today's proposed changes is 500,000 lower - so 1.4 million. The Home Office say it's confusingly written and that is why they are reissuing the document.

Key detail: the government is looking to create a framework that allows dependants to settle at the same time as main applicants. It is not just low-skilled migrants who will enjoy a reduced ILR period but their family members - who may not have worked at all - as well.

Make no mistake: Shabana Mahmood just capitulated to the far left of the Labour Party and it's the British people who will pay the price. Tens of billions of pounds to subsidise migrants they never even asked to have in the country. This is all part of Burnham's plan to roll the pitch for a snap general election. The Right must join together behind Reform UK or this country will be lost. The Tories delivered the Boriswave. Restore are nowhere near strong enough to stop it. Only Reform UK will reverse this change and put the British people first.

This is MIND BLOWING. This Labour Government is making migrant policy to suit the wishes of foreigners and not those of British citizens. This is a national outrage.
"We ran a consultation where we asked a large number of visa holders about reforms to visa rules, and they said you should make the rules less stringent"

Shabana Mahmood just sold out to the far left of the Labour Party. She was never a hardliner. Labour is about to unleash a huge wave of immigration. If they are not stopped they will destroy Britain.
