Wonderful to see lots of support on our final two south east pickets today. 🪧Thank you to all our Residents and supporters on the pickets and to all those that took action. 💪We’ve sent a strong message to Wes. Let’s hope he comes to the table with some concrete proposals.

When we made our deal in September, we were clear: a late or inadequate DDRB report means re-entering dispute. RDC co-chairs @Melissa_S_Ryan & @RossNieuwoudt have written to Gov today – read here👇 If the delay isn’t fixed by 9 April, UKRDC will be back in a formal trade dispute.
The DDRB's report to government is late and this puts vital pay reforms at risk. We have today written to @wesstreeting asking him to: 📢 Publish the report immediatelyupon receipt 🤝Enter good-faith negotiations if recommendations fall short Doctors deserve fair pay and action is needed now. bma.org.uk/bma-media-centre/…

Doctors received offers for Radiology training posts at around 3-4pm. They were able to accept these offers on Oriel and received confirmation of acceptance. Offers then began to disappear on Oriel. At 6:30pm they received this email. Simply unacceptable.

Last year, graduating doctors were given ‘placeholder’ jobs due to an utterly atrocious failure of workforce planning. This year, those same doctors in the Oxford (Thames Valley) Foundation School are being treated truly abysmally once again. (1/2)

The communication has been appalling—no apology for delays, and no acknowledgment of missed timelines—leaving doctors across the region feeling insulted, disrespected, and unvalued. Accountability is long overdue. (2/2)

For F1s planning a family, be warned! If you conceive in the next couple of months then you won't yet qualify for NHS maternity pay. I've seen foundation doctors miss out on this by only a few days and it's worth THOUSANDS of ££ so wanted to give you a heads up 👶🏽

Misleadingingly contextualised piece, @NickTriggle, which relies, predictably enough, on those infamous anonymous NHS senior sources. The crux of the issue is not, as you claim, 'the speed at which [PAs] are being recruited". 1/n bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2dl…

A doctor who takes a locum shift during strike action is one less doctor fighting for #PayRestoration Locum before/after strikes, but don’t take advantage of colleagues’ sacrifices by locuming during. For financial support, apply for our strike fund bma.org.uk/strikefund

We're aware that many doctors are being told their training is being automatically extended due to exceeding TOOT thresholds. This should NOT happen. @gmcuk and @NHSEngland confirm there should be no automatic extensions. See our guidance on TOOT 👇 bma.org.uk/toot-ia

This will come as no surprise to the Government. We made this clear to them. They knew their actions would trigger this.
Junior doctors, let's make sure full pay restoration stays front and centre during this election. We strike again with a 5 day full walkout from 7am on 27 June to 7am on 2 July. Let's make this round of action our biggest and loudest yet! #DoctorsStrike bma.org.uk/bma-media-centre/…

We are extremely disappointed @AoMRC has excluded @TheBMA from a meeting to discuss MAPs and doctors in training despite the inclusion of other key stakeholders including @NHSEngland, @gmcuk and ATDC. [1/3]
