Great to hold an informative session earlier today on Gambling Harm and Crime.
MPs heard from a variety of witnesses, including @GamLearn, @AssocPCCs, @TacklingStigma, and @TheHowardLeague.
It's clear much closer alignment between @DCMS, @DHSCgovuk and @MoJGovUK is needed.
We welcome the announcement of the new #GamblingLevy and its potential to drive meaningful change. Tackling gambling harm is vital, and we hope the levy paves the way for bold, systemic reform. #GamblingHarm
TGS’s Director of Research Clare Wyllie joined the panel at today’s @pgreform Gambling Ads Summit:
· Gambling can’t be regulated by those who benefit from it.
· There is enough evidence, and the government has the power to make change. We hope that the new government will act.
