Simple questions, actually. Simple questions that IIT Bombay will refuse to answer and instead use everything in their arsenal, from inconsequential videos to brute police force, just to cover up how they've screwed up.
NEW | "What happens to the power dynamic when the student is from a lowered caste and the professor is from a privileged caste?" The death of Sahil Wakode, a 2nd-year IIT Bombay student, has reignited critical questions about caste discrimination on Indian campuses and the lack of reliable data on caste-linked suicides. Did Mumbai really spend billions building a seafront just to turn the Arabian Sea into a floating advertising hoarding? Mumbaikars can’t even enjoy a waterfront without being force-fed ads. Is EVERYTHING in this city just another opportunity to monetise public space? Tiring…
🚨 Mumbai to get floating advertising barges and hoardings at waterfront sites across the city.

Several CJP protest videos of ours from July and also October have conspicuously gone missing from our insta. Never received any notice or intimation. But am sure Allzwell! They wanna kill the independent space. Targeting smaller platforms so that people surrender.

People in Punjab deserve dignity even in death. Yet the @BhagwantMann government showed such insensitivity that it snatched the body of 35-year-old Daljit Singh from his grieving family and fled with it. Daljit died of a drug overdose. Like countless other young people in Punjab, he fell prey to the state’s flourishing drug mafia. Instead of dismantling this nefarious drug network, the government is further victimising those already marginalised. This inverted logic of governance cannot go on. Punjab is a land of honour. Its people deserve a government that protects their dignity, not one that compounds their suffering.
Shameful and inhuman! Punjab's drug crisis is claiming young lives, and now @mansa_police has snatched the body of 35-year-old Daljit Singh from his grieving family and fled with it. @BhagwantMann, snatching a dead man's body and fleeing is a disgraceful assault on his dignity and a cruel violation of his family's grief. Instead of dismantling the drug mafia, your police are manhandling the dead. Punjab deserves answers for this shocking abuse of power!

Today is the second time INC has thrown under the bus the Kerala Social Media Unit. I know the people of INC Kerala Social Media team who had built and made the Kerala Twitter handle the most powerful of any state unit. They were always admired for the wit, humour and also research. It was unmatched and miles ahead of every State Social Media unit of Congress. First time it happened was during the Operation Sindoor when they were forced to delete a Tweet because of some outrage. There was nothing wrong in the Tweet. I know how dejected the entire unit was because of pressure from the top. This has been repeated today. INC threw one of their own under the bus. Just for some legal threat. Ironically, the best lawyers in India currently are with Congress and they can put the most formidable defence. I am sure none from the Kerala Unit will ever have the motivation to create edgy content. Their research used to be top notch and expose the Government. Now they can go back to the mould of the rest of the Social Media Units and create AI generated posters and retweet the national handles of leaders.

Something is fundamentally broken in the Indian legal system. The very institution meant to uncover the truth and uphold justice increasingly appears to be more concerned with suppressing the truth than exposing it. When truth becomes a threat, justice becomes a casualty.

INTERESTING and IMPORTANT: why did the Govt want to know the caste of a minority community judge before his family converted? Is caste a factor in judicial appointments? Listen in to Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.
"India is not one unit. It’s various units." Former SC judge Justice Sanjay Kaul makes the case that judicial appointments cannot ignore the social realities of different states. But where should the line be drawn between recognising underrepresented communities and judging candidates primarily on their caste or background? #Judiciary #SupremeCourt #HighCourt #NJAC #NewsTodayExclusive | @sardesairajdeep | @AneeshaMathur

Rahul Gandhi, despite not being in government, has adopted the children orphaned in the Pahalgam terror attack and is bearing the cost of their education. You Sanghi bastards, whose ideological forefathers used to act as informers for the British, who killed Bapu through the terrorist organisation RSS and who are continuously spreading hatred in the country... No one need certificate of patriotism from you terrorists. Congress and Rahul Gandhi's bloodline belongs to revolutionaries and martyrs. You’d better learn the history.
Terrorists and anarchists may wear different masks, but they speak the same language of chaos, violence & destruction !

India’s first train ran from Victoria Terminus to Thane in 1853. Thane should’ve been a heritage landmark, yet its infrastructure remains abysmal. Daily footfall has surged from 400k in the early 2000s to 1 million today, while station has barely saw less than <10% modifications.
The scene at Thane railway station yesterday was chaotic to say the least. With such a large workforce coming to Mumbai daily travelling from places far off in MMR like Kalyan, Dombivli, etc most have taken double & triple the regular time to reach back home. While trains are the fastest mode of transport in this city, such days can be gruelling for everyone.

The visuals emerging from Jamia Millia Islamia should provoke outrage and concern among every political party and human rights organisation in India. To use brute force against our own students and turn one of our finest universities into a fortress is nothing short of fascism.

India had a seat at the table to co-develop the Su-57 stealth fighter. Modi's government walked away in 2018. Russia built it alone. Now Putin is publicly saying "we offered, they refused." China already has the J-20. India has no 5th-gen aircraft. AMCA won't arrive until the mid-2030s at best. This is not a missed opportunity, this is a strategic vacuum Modi handed to our adversaries. Who in this government actually thinks about India's long-term security?

Delhi: On the INDIA bloc's rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan on November 1, Janpath Mini Market trader Vinod Sharma says, "I am not speaking only about Janpath but about the entire Connaught Place area. This rally, along with previous protests, is affecting businesses across Connaught Place. Our business has been severely affected over the past five to six months. First, there was a Congress Party protest, followed by demonstrations by other organisations, and now this rally is scheduled to take place at Ramlila Maidan. Given the large number of people expected to attend, traffic and normal life across Delhi could be disrupted. The festive season is underway, and we have already suffered significant losses. In such a situation, this rally could further adversely affect businesses..."

Rahul Gandhi showed a picture of Lord Shiva in Parliament, broadcasting it live to the entire country. BJP MPs started booing, and the moment he held up the picture, the live feed cut it out. I stopped believing that the BJP is a party of Hindus that day.
still crazy that his PR agency doesn't allow him to post images of Hindu deities and only posts symbols, because idol worship or "shirk" will offend muslims
