No. The Los Angeles Rams are an LLC and member club of The national football League. They do not work for the national football league. The NFL does not run the team. That said, the work-related trip is them winning the football game. That's their job. Anything else is secondary.
What's embarrassing is this belief that the Rams should do things how you want them to do things. This is regular season football in what is going to be a tight divisional race. They owe it to themselves alone to do what's right for them. Not you, Australia, or anyone else. It's your attitude that's embarrassing.
Still more dismissive attitude from the Rams organization. It sounds to me like they view Australia as just a box to check off. Send a few two-player junkets a few times a year. Half the time it’s not even active players. Todd Gurley hasn’t played football in six years and was with the Falcons when he retired.
The desire to truly interact with Aussie fans looks beyond weak. To L.A., the full team commitment just isn’t worth it.
