BREAKING: Senator Mark Kelly hits back hard after Donald Trump called for his execution — and his words brilliantly showcase the differences between the two men. One is an American hero, the other a lifelong coward... "I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country," Kelly wrote on X. "I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution." "Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it," he added. Yesterday, Trump called for Kelly and several other Democratic lawmakers, all veterans, to be executed after they released a video urging our military members to stand up to illegal orders. "SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!" Trump wrote. "This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT" Trump added. Most egregiously, he reposted a message from a supporter saying; "HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!" In truth, there was nothing seditious about the lawmakers' remarks. Our service men and women took an oath to uphold the Constitution and are bound by honor and law to disobey illegal orders. Trump may want them to be mindless fascist drones who live to serve him, but they serve the American people. Even by MAGA standards, calling for the executions of political opponents is a vile new low. When Democrats retake Congress, they should immediately begin impeachment proceedings against this anti-American president Please retweet and ❤️ if you stand with Mark Kelly!

@bostonpw North Washington Street from Causeway Street to Haymarket is lined with gaping potholes and chewed up black top. Rutherford Ave traveling north is also in poor condition.

It’s been another busy week for PWD patch crews making repairs across the @CityOfBoston. Pics below from #HydePark, #Roxbury, #BrightonMA, #Dorchester, #KenmoreSquare & #DowntownBoston. If you see a pothole, please contact @BOS311 so we can dispatch a crew to repair it.

Last-place teams should see what they have (or don’t have), so Duran should play. But the Sox should stop peddling this “we’re going for it” stuff. If you’re actually going for it you’d keep Bradley for his glove and arm to protect late leads in CF as opposed to Jaylin Davis.

Your focus should be the alarming number of guns on the streets of your district. The residents of Roxbury/Dorchester live in fear every single day!

OK, let’s see who gets this first: When the Red Sox were on TV in the 1960’s and there was a rain delay, what did the station show to fill the air time?

Will be 18,602 shortly if they continue to manage this team like a small market franchise.

Incredibly proud the way my Dad and family handled this. He never complained or missed a day of work. He even slept at the Garden before his first treatment because it was scheduled the day of a snowstorm, so he could walk there. Thanks everyone that reached out. @NHLBruins

Why can’t they incorporate analytics to resolve their differences…..

Both sides believe they’ve made many major concessions and the other side has made very few. Both sides believe the other is being unreasonable. The one thing both sides agree on now? That we may be in for quite a wait.

Like any good negotiator, split the difference and call it a day…. Play ball!!!

Players union requested luxury tax figures of 238M, 244, 250, 256 and 263. MLB had offered 220M, 220, 220, 224 and 230. That is a massive difference.
When is the last time you saw kids playing catch or a bunch of kids playing baseball down the local ball field….Fix the game and rid the sport of greed on both sides!

Prevailing question I have right now: players for a long time have desired significant, meaningful changes. Do they settle for changes that could be viewed as middling, or argued to be uninspiring? Or do they insist on a package that is hard to describe as anything but impactful?
