We`re expecting a shift away from humans primarily interacting through graphical interfaces (buttons, menus, dashboards) toward AI agents interacting directly with systems via APIs, MCP servers, and other machine-to-machine protocols.
Software will increasingly become an interface for AI rather than an interface for people.

For those inquiring, Responsible AI is a workstream /capability area within AI governance .
So for example, a healthcare company deploying an AI model to prioritize patient outreach ..
- AI governance determines:
Who approved the use case
Whether the vendor passed security review
Whether legal/privacy signed off
What evidence must be retained
Who owns the model after deployment
What monitoring is required
What happens if the system causes issues
Whether the use case aligns with company policy
- Responsible AI examines:
Whether certain patient groups are disadvantaged
Whether the outputs can be explained
Whether humans can override recommendations
